I see so many people hating on crossfit. Most of them are "bodybuilders" or so they think, or more traditional style gym goers (bi's and tri's, chest and back kinda people) What they fail to see is that there's nothing wrong with any of it. At least people are active and doing something. But a crossfitter's goal is not to get huge muscles and be 300lbs with 3% bodyfat. The goal is to be as good as possible and a variety of functional movements. Being huge and strong doesn't mean jack if you can only do one or two reps and then you're on the floor. Likewise, running 10 miles is useless if you can't lift your own body weight. Crossfit is great, but only when properly coached. Too many of the haters have a valid point because the only example they've seen is someone doing the movements with poor form.
look how young he looks. man is a beast!!! do u notice that 2007-2010 crossfit games the athletes are awesome but nowhere as big and muscular as they are now by like alottttttt. even froning, he's always looked lean but now he's hugeeeee in comparison.
Actually I have a question why bodybuilders belittle crossfit. I was watching bodybuilding and crossfit videos and I saw some comments belittling crossfit on a bodybuilding video. Someone said "yea you probably don't lift you proably do crossfit" which is weird. Because I can probably bet my neighbor's left nut that a pure bodybuilder can't do one full session of a crossfit workout. I see body builders with great looking muscles, HUGE muscles, but gasp for breath just talking.
bodybuilders don't lift to be "the fittest on earth". they lift because they want to build big muscles. therefore they don't care if a crossfiter can do this and that. they consider their muscles inferior and disrespect them from the bodybuilding point of view. which is kinda stupid, but it is their opinion and so be it. Also you can hear crossfiters laughing at bodybuilders because, for example they are gasping for air while talking... Same point.
Even the last place Crossfit guy would destroy any top 20 BB on these courses, without a doubt! I My cardio was off the roof playing basketball for hours a day and doing dips off my mothers washer and dryer with Javex bottles as added weight and now 35+ years later just lifting weights to stay in shape and yes I'd be out of breath just running up the stairs chasing the kids!

crossfit would be great without all the "hoo" that surrounds it.
