  • In this video, Mr. Krug shows students the easy way to interpret a photoelectron spectroscopy (PES) diagram, working several examples. He shows how each peak of a PES diagram correlates to a specific sublevel in an atom, and how the data on the diagram can be used to calculate the ionization energy of an element.
