That speaks for your competence, so I'm asking you for an advice. At the moment I'm using the Google Pixel 8 Pro. Can you recommend me another device, Vivo or something else, with an excellent camera? I am grateful !!!
@GrantLikesTech Basically, I'm happy with the phone and the camera, my contract with Deutsche Telekom is running out. For this reason, I can choose a new smartphone and I'm going to give my old Pixel 8 Pro to a friend. That's why I need your recommendation, I'm just undecided. Thanks for the video. Not sure if i should wait for the X200 Ultra since the price difference isn't that significant compared to the Pro version but would make a difference in terms of camera capacity.
I have had two updates to the x200 pro already, and the quality of the camera amazing. This Sony lens is something special and its fast ... I dont miss those fast moving shots that i used to with the lag in the 1" sensor, this thing is quick. I have been eagerly awaiting the x200 pro and im glad it has become my daily use device.
@bleakoned in over 600 shots, I have had it maybe 15-20 times, and all of those in very bright sunlight conditions, which affect any device. It's a non issue in my opinion, but others may have gotten dodgy early test devices. I think the Xiaomi Ultra 14 has bigger issues with it's lens fog which stopped me getting many shots
Vivo X200 Pro seems better skin smoothness while with Vivo X100 Ultra more details. Stabilisation is better for Vivo X200 Pro. HDR looks better for Vivo X200 Pro but Vivo X100 Ultra makes brighter but risk of over burnouts. Bigger sensor makes sense. It seems I would fall for Vivo X200 Pro while both are very good quality.
Both camera phones are awesome no competition at all they both r camera king right now they r the best camera phone no other phones cameras can't even stand in competition...vivo has just revolutionized the whole camera industry of phones...
My thoughts: I think the 1 inch sensor on the 100 ultra is still better than the 200 pro. There's more detail in daytime shots with nice shadows. At night it still has the edge. But it's a lot closer at night, where I don't see a clear winner. The zoom is a toss up, it jumps back and forth. Video wise, it's a draw for me. But if I were to pick, I'd go with the 100 ultra, the 1 inch sensor is still better imo
Thanks for checking it out Bradley! I agree the Ultra 1" sensor is nice especially when it comes to depth of field. I can appreciate the X200P slightly smaller sensor for more reliable point and shoot focus since it has a bit better minimum focus distance. The video stabilization is noticably better on the Ultra to me. Basically everything is a bit better on the Ultra to me except the telemacro, which is close but I actually prefer the X200P processing.
2 huge cameraphones side by side. For the entire rendering of the onboard cameras I would say X100U. But the X200pro has just been released... let's wait and see the competition.

IMO, Ultra wins in outdoor daytime while the X200 in lowlight and indoor. The Microsphone of the X200 seems weird, in X100ULtra too much ambient noise but X200 was muffled or something. 11:23 there! thats the flare issue reported by Vivo
mmmm this is not an easy one! There are some shots I like better on the X100 Ultra and then some the other way around! I think at the end both will be PERFECTLY fine for most people, but the bigger win for the X200 pro will simply be that at some point it will be a global unit where the X100 Ultra won't be.
A bit of a toss up in quality, but I prefer the X100U for its stabilization. Front camera and ultra wide also go to the Ultra. I'm mostly enjoying the telemacro on each though.
these brands are not making it any easier to decide lol... Should I grab the x100 Ultra since it has the biggest 1" sensor ? Or the X200 Pro since it has the new chipset and bigger battery? Thank you for the camera comparison. It's been very detailed. I want the phone with the best camera possible, and not whether it matters from China the X200 Pro or the X100 Ultra. I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S23 ultra.
In addition to these two phones there is someone else who has a great camera, I am especially interested in zoom, portraits, landscape and macro.
Greetings from Spain.
Thanks, appreciate the support from Spain!
If watching with high resolution =2160, it's quite obvious the differences.. 100u capture details and higher dynamic range.
So for you, which one is better in camera, the x200 pro or the x100ultra?
This is a great comparison I've been looking or
You very well know how to use the phone cameras to their full potential. Thanks for your relentless efforts in bringing us these wonderful comparisons.
Thanks, always happy to help!
Здравствуйте, какая автономность батареи если их сравнивать?
X100 Ultra seems nice overall. X200 Pro cuts a lot on hardware. Lower grade stereo speakers too.
I have been following technical product comparisons for a long time and I really want to compliment you. The way you compare the different devices is excellent. That speaks for your competence, so I'm asking you for an advice. At the moment I'm using the Google Pixel 8 Pro. Can you recommend me another device, Vivo or something else, with an excellent camera? I am grateful !!!
@@MrBaloutus why are you looking to s switch from the Pixel 8 Pro? What are you looking for in a set of cameras that it's not giving you?
@GrantLikesTech Basically, I'm happy with the phone and the camera, my contract with Deutsche Telekom is running out. For this reason, I can choose a new smartphone and I'm going to give my old Pixel 8 Pro to a friend. That's why I need your recommendation, I'm just undecided. Should I get the honor magic v3 or the Vivo X 200 pro? Or should I wait for the Vivo X 200 Ultra?
Great test, thank you
Thanks, I appreciate it!
If you were to decide to buy something new right now, which one would you choose?
Who has the better zoom? Both have 200 Mp but which is better?
Why there's a blurry filter on x200 pro front camera🤔
That 1" really makes difference
Great comparison! 👍🔥
Thanks! 👊🏻
Nice, Review, presentation, and comparison done on this phones 👍👏👏👏
Thanks, glad you liked it!
Thanks for the video
And what's with x200 pro lens flares situation? How often does it occur and how can we handle with?
Honestly, not sure what this lens flare issue is that people are talking about. Any phone can have lens flare, especially when shooting into light. I have this issue with a lot of phones since I live in a place with constant harsh sunlight. It can be mitigated with playing with angles when framing your shot.
@@GrantLikesTech look at 11.20 the while area in the photo. The x100 Ultra didnt show it. According to Vivo they are reducing that effect by software and fee accesories but they have to look at it in the production line
The 1 inch sensor is showing its advantage in the night shots.
Not just in low light but in zooming.
At 11:43
is that the lens flare they're talking about?

Does your X100 Ultra have the latest update?
Received two updates out of the box.
Can you use the vivo x100 ultra photography kit on vivo x200 pro?
It has a photography kit like all Vivo phones
Which one you recomend im confused please ?
X100 Ultra
Ultra for pretty much everything overall except the telephoto was close as expected and I liked more shots with the X200.
Thanks for great comparison 👍
Thanks, glad you liked it.
Nice video comparison. I have the X100 pro.. you may want to talk about the flaring issue on the X200 Pro
Doesn't bother me and I honestly wouldn't have known it was a thing unless people weren't bringing it up. Lens flare cam happen on any phone and it's all about how you mitigate it. Sometimes it can even be a nice artistic tough. Just my 2 cents.
Thanks! The best review so far. x100u is still a King :)
Appreciate it. 🙏🏼
Samsung galaxi s25, iphone 16 pro max o vivo x200 pro ?? En cuanto a camaras.
Any way to turn off the skin smoothening?
How wide is the SELFIE camera lens on the Vivo X200 Pro, is it 0.7x or 0.8x?
Thanks for the information in advance.
No, 23mm with a 46mm pinch to zoom option.
you mean ultra wide ?
@@MT_Real_ Yes. The Ultrawide Selfie lens!
Great video! Can you do a similar comparison between the Vivo x200 pro mini against the x100 ultra and if possible add more images using the vintage filter, it looks so good
Not sure I can get the mini, but I think it’s the same main and ultra wide cameras. The telephoto will be better on the Pro since it’s the same one in the x100 ultra.
Great comparison!
Thanks, much appreciated and thanks for subscribing!
200 ultra would be so INSANE!
Thanks for the video.
Not sure if i should wait for the X200 Ultra since the price difference isn't that significant compared to the Pro version but would make a difference in terms of camera capacity.
It's about the snapdragon Elite and more than 1 Inch telephoto sensor Bro.. so worth waiting ✨
Ayyyyeee!! Guess who’s back!!
Thank you sir, been trying to build things back up so several new videos are out.
13:27 big difference in selfie video because ultra has better 50 mp selfie sensor
How frequent is the lens flare?
X200 pro is not very far behind x100 ultra.
I appreciate you comparing the two! Given the current results, I will definitely wait for X200 Ultra. Not impressed with the new smaller sensor,
There's no telling if the x200 ultra would be using the smaller sensor as well... I have a feeling they will
Thanks!
Both camera phones are awesome no competition at all they both r camera king right now they r the best camera phone no other phones cameras can't even stand in competition...vivo has just revolutionized the whole camera industry of phones...
Vivo definitely always has great cameras. We'll see what the competition from OPPO brings soon.
oppo find x8 is sometimes even better than x100 ultra and x200 pro
X200 pro better 10/15%👏💪
@@GrantLikesTechThanks for your own personal feedback - not everything can be seen on the video.
2 huge cameraphones side by side. For the entire rendering of the onboard cameras I would say X100U. But the X200pro has just been released... let's wait and see the competition.
Very good comparison.
Can you make a comparison against xiaomi 14 ultra ?
Would love to if I could get my hands on one.
Can you talk about the lens flare ? Should I still buy the phone ?
Honestly, not sure what this lens flare issue is that people are talking about. Any phone can have lens flare, especially when shooting into light. I have this issue with a lot of phones since I live in a place with constant harsh sunlight. It can be mitigated with playing with angles when framing your shot.
can u compare x100s pro /x100 pro vs x200 pro or x200
Sorry, don't have those phones
It is so cool you are testing out other brand
I try, I love getting my hands on whatever I can.
@@GrantLikesTech here is a great idea for you. Test out older phones versus the new model. For example s21 ultra vs s24 ultra. Pixel 3 xl vs pixel 9 pro xl. I can almost guarantee you some of the pictures coming from the older model are better.
Dynamic range on ultra is just insane
The video comparison looks like it was shot on Samsung S24 ultra and Iphone 16promax. I like the video colour rendering of the x100 while night photos on the x200
11:24 you can see lens flare there on X200 Pro video 4K 30fps
Vivo X100 pro is not far behind. But grant how do you think iPhone 16 Pro holds up against X200 Pro in terms of Night time photo?
I'd take the X200 Pro for low light over the iPhone, but might have to do a comparison if enough people want to see one.
Have to say the ultra seems to win it. But it is an Ultra. Can’t wait to see what they do with a 200 Ultra
very very nice video, subscribed and will watch your other comparisons
lot of good samples, lot of different sceneries, good photos, and i love the fact that you take normal non "night mod" shots, THEN night shots on the low light section, amazing video again thanks for this, amazing work (and really love too the fact that you all the time take photos with different mods / filters)
Really amazing through, complete comparison with very nice photos you give us
Thanks, glad you liked the video!
12:20 only the video part looks better on the X200pro. A VivoX100Pro user and i feel like x200pro doesn't have that 1inch sensor which is not acceptable. I'm so happy with my VivoX100Pro. I believe VivoX100Pro can beat X200pro in the main camera battle.
IMO, Ultra wins in outdoor daytime while the X200 in lowlight and indoor. The Microsphone of the X200 seems weird, in X100ULtra too much ambient noise but X200 was muffled or something.
11:23 there! thats the flare issue reported by Vivo
Intro, do like the video better on the X200 pro, more details on your face! Portrait video closer to eachother.
mmmm this is not an easy one!
Great to have Jermaine here. I see you Buddy😊
these brands are not making it any easier to decide lol...
Should I grab the x100 Ultra since it has the biggest 1" sensor ?
Or the X200 Pro since it has the new chipset and bigger battery?
Or wait for the X200 Ultra which will have maybe 4 cameras (or 3 upgraded cameras and the 1 inch sensor)?
I'm seeing results that the new 9400 chip is power efficient and who knows how the sd gen 4 on the x200 U will turn out ??
Always something better around the corner with tech.
that was a great review. Thanks for showing different portrait modes. Natural portrait mode looks too artificial compared to the vintage/humanistic mode.
Thanks, glad you liked it and thanks for being a long time subscriber!
@@GrantLikesTech Hope you are doing well, you've been away from the channel for a while! I have a question , Do you find that X100 Ultra main camera having better stabilization at night (less motion artifact)? it seems like the only the Ultra have 'Gimbal like' stabilization vs X200 pro OIS. The slow motion samples look like only x100 ultra has stabilization (EIS or simply crop?)
Audio sounds really thin on the x100 compared to the x200.
