Well he works in a restaurant actually.. Heheh😅
I’ve known no so many dudes that work in the food industry, bcuz of this they refuse to help at home, believing home kitchen it’s a women’s place so dawood is unique
That should be the normal we are not doing some manicure 😑
@@yassboh7658 our prophet helped his wives at home, its even rewarded for men who do. Some men are sadly raised to be forever be dependent when they get home.
Sadly normal is abnormal to some males
😂😂😂😂
I have Been making grape leaves in stove presto pressure cooker for 50 years, now use Instant Pot or any electric pressure cooker, I learned this method from an older Syrian American woman who has passed, I learned to make Syrian braided cheese made using the microwave by another older woman who has passed away, thanks to them both and others no longer with us for teaching us the more modern methods that they even being older tested and tried and passed on to us so our families and children will also enjoy these wonderful foods. By the way I’m not Arabic just an old country girl from Tennessee, who married my husband as a teenager and like to remind him that he never missed a meal from his mom’s table to ours the next day. Love the cooking shows that all of you on UA-cam post, helps keep the healthy cultural traditional foods on our tables.
beautiful story. love that these recipes are spreading outside of our culture.
Looks good. In Turkey we call this "sarma" İt's so delicious. You can make this also with meat.

Hi Jasmine ..... thanks for sharing . I am not Middle Eastern but use you as a role model to the young females from Muslim and Christian) the Middle East, that I work with. They are often missing their parents and culture so I use everything within my knowledge to uplift them. I often use you & your life, to inspire them to create a vision of the life they want.
I haven’t made stuffed vine leaves in about two years (it’s just me and my husband during quarantine), and I’m watching vids to gear myself up to make a batch. I love how layering the rolls in the cooker is always like a game of Tetris. 😂
Thanks for the encouragement and the pressure cooker recipe!

You made so much easy to cook and I just want to say thank so much for sharing .
Ma sha Allah,, keep the cooking vids coming except in ramadhan 😂 looks yum I'm hungry now 😁
Its very interesting to see how the same Arab (shami) people cook the same dishes differently according to which Arabian country were from. I'm Palestinian and we put mutton and a lot less rice in our grape leaves. We also like to line the bottom of the pot aka (tanjara lol) with mutton as well. Then fill the whole thing with the left over water to let all the spices mix together.
salam! Love making these for the family! So fun to watch xx

This food is originally a Turkish food. It was introduced to many people's under the Ottoman empire. The word Turks use is dolma or sarma dolma meaning to stuff or fill' and sarma meaning to roll or wrap. You can call it whatever you like but it is originally Turkish.
This food is originally Middle Eastern created by Levantine Arabs and Middle Eastern Iraqis and Middle Eastern Turks. Turks are Middle Eastern people and Turkish food got lots of their influences from Levantine Arabs and ancient Mesopotamians (Iraqis) and Iranian Persians.
