That's my great Aunt Olive's (Olive Luse) house at 4:26 on the right with the green awning and white trellis on the side of the front porch. Spent so many times there with her in the 1970's-80's. She worked for years managing the library. She lived in that house for over 65 years. She helped rescue the bank tellers after John Dillinger robbed the bank there in 1932. Wonderful to see this time capsule of the town in 1976. My grandfather used to go to Whitey's Tavern for years in the 60's-70's. Thanks for posting this.

I surely kept my ears peeled for ANY sound of Mill Road mentioned. & now it seems Mill Road started as Ol Mill Road to Old Mill Road. No strattling the fence either as Time has produced 3 versions of the same name 😉 tickles me. Please, anyone know the actuallity of how this came to be? Which is it lol, thank you. Im going to see if there is any film of the Xenia tornado. We had a couch and debri thrown on our lawn. I may have been 4-5 yrs old. Crystal clear images of seeing that. Us kids were worried our HUGE MAPLE TREE had been damaged.The look on Moms face shut us down Snap.
Ive been tapping ALL AROUND 1970-5 on my solo hunt for an old Victorian style home in New Carlisle on ol Mill Rd. 😞where we grew up😣 im not worth aflip on trying to cartography the area. All dead ends. Can you help?
