Kicad Developpers said that Custom Design Rule GUI like in Altium it will be on Kicad V8, but in this presention "There is no item Custom Design Rule GUI like in Altium". Why?
It really bothered me, so I stitched together an FFmpeg script that fixes that issue. I don't think I can upload the fixed video, but I can share my script: ffmpeg -i "KiCad Project Status - KiCon 2023.mp4" -ss 00:00:40 -t 00:30:08 -filter:v "crop=320:180:960:540" -c:a copy speaker.mp4 ffmpeg -i "KiCad Project Status - KiCon 2023.mp4" -i speaker.mp4 -filter_complex "[1:v]scale=320:180[ovrl],[0:0][ovrl]overlay=:x=960:y=540[out]" -t 00:30:08 -map [out] -map 1:1 part_with_slides_fixed.mp4
It's pretty easy to open this video in two browser tabs. Run one for the audio, and view the other for the slides with audio turned down. You can start both around the same time, and just delay the slides as needed, like by using the left arrow.
