How to distinguish new confusion from old confusion like Alzheimer’s. If patient say wrong day / place while doing ACVPU in Disability or while calculating 6CIT
Thank you for pointing this out out You can certainly use dot or A both are acceptable. If you see in NEWS chart there are separate boxes for Air, O2L/min and Device. There isn’t any confusion. Air box you can either put dot or A. However O2L/m and Device are the columns people fail for. Mostly people forget to write the device. If patient is on Air you only select Air box. When in Oxygen you fill oxygen and device boxes. Thank you
You do not require to write the numbers If you wrote then they have to be within the box. Best is not to write and put the dots & arrows for BP within the box Thank you from HST Learning

Thank you

If score getting 0 what will writte in escalation y/N please demonstrae,
Escalation as per news score is no however you may want to escalate further for the high BP ….
We don't have to write the numbers?
You do not require to write the numbers
