Midnight blue. Best new color since ever.
Actually kind of an old colour! You can find some Strat Pluses in blue pearl burst (pretty much the same colour). I own an early 90's in black pearl burst reverb.com/item/4177667-fender-stratocaster-plus-1989-blue-pearl-burst?
@@ccfmafia3301 I have a blue pearl dust strat plus and have just ordered a dark knight tele. I’m excited to see if the colour is the exact same or not!

3:45 that tone is epic
that's exactly the tone i am going for
The guy with the butterscotch was enjoying himself way too much lol
My favourite player on the video
@@blahzay_ agreed
He had the best groove but the way he holds the pick irks me.
@@williep1626 The ends justify the means! See also Marty Friedman and his baffling picking ergonomics
@@var_guitar Ive noticed majority of people who use a pick this way are amazing guitar players. First noticed Marty playing this way. He is one of my favorite guitar players ever. Kinda makes me want to change up my picking style. I think their on to something.
All great players. Love what Christopher McCorkle, and Mason Stoops did.
I like what Stoops was playing. Kinda reminds of some 50s instrumental.
The silver with humbuckers with maple back neck and rosewood board....yes please. I just built one on the Fender site, $1,799 with hard case shipped. The last dude played excellent and tone was awesome.
Why am I in love with that 3tone burst and maple neck?
I just bought a Fender Telecaster to use on an retail album that I am recording and releasing next year and also in regards to the commercially licensed music I write and record. With the Telecaster, I can use this one guitar and write and record in "nine" different style/genres of music. I'm a songwriter/composer under professional rights organization, BMI, Inc.
Finally took the plunge and put one on order yesterday. Hopefully I'll have it by Christmas. Looking forward to it.
Christopher McCorckle 🔥
Great work Fender. This an elite guitar.
Everybody seems to dig the midnight blue burst. I’m not seeing it and it confuses me. I wanna like it :/ That tea coloured one was excellent from the ultra line. Loved that colour!
i couldnt choose between that or the chrome one i think its called mercury.
I don't somehow like it. I like warmer colors.
@@JO-bz4kc
Yeah same. Or at least just something a little more natural looking. The blue and grey they went for this year look really... hmm.. “synthetic”..?
The midnight colour looks great on the new Jazzmaster - arguably suits it more than on the Telecaster.
@@craigthomson3621
Im hoping to be more impressed when I see it in person. Jazzmaster seems like a better fit for the colour scheme
Hot rod red with maple fretboard and a tummy cut with a four way switch is what I like.
Definitely saving up for the deluxe
It would be nice if they made a Tele Deluxe for lefty’s. Squire or Fender, I wouldn’t care!
The American Professional II Telecaster is great.
I just bought the Performer and now you entice me with this gorgeous Dark Night tele?? 😢 Can anyone tell me a major difference other than that gorgeous color?
The pickups are probably the biggest difference. Yosemite on the American Performer vs a combo of Alnico 2 and 5 on the American Professional II. I’ve never tried the Performer series but I’ve heard a lot of people say that they don’t really have that classic Fender tone. I’m guessing the grease bucket tone circuit has something to do with that.
@@arcanerhino6 Thanks Rylan for your reply. I am new to electrics so wasn't sure about the differences.
Best guitar line in history. I stand by that.
If that silver Deluxe had a six-saddle bridge, it'd be pretty much my dream guitar. Been trying to find a Tele Deluxe-style guitar with coil-splits and a contoured heel.
A little over the top with the tounge out and crazy head movement in my opinion.
Yeah straight goofy but she’s a good player and was having fun
@@richardlucascronley5128 Eh, subjective for sure
@@optimus3305 I’m trying to be nice here
@@richardlucascronley5128 That’s fine, I stated my opinion, I don’t care much for cheesy advertising, specifically on things I’m extremely passionate and or familiar about.
Thats my old Stratocaster DBI 975 Series-Xam Hammerfist Cammed out, bored out, geared out, panther fluted barrel, mosi oak stained drilled out gear tech finish with strataborg concave pick set with drippings, carved harness with the triple digit dually front blazer strains, and finally the Texas funk p hop strings with fudge gravy biscuit waffle tops! I wish i kept that guitar! 😭😭 At least it went to a worthy player, she pan fluted the barrel to overture quasi cams though which added that flux metal action
Just bought it and It’s on the way! Will let you know how it works out. One thing Fender.. Why a push push and not S1 switch?
These are the best Telecasters
Love Teles, have owned one for 20+ years. But I don’t like that blue burst colour, much prefer the sunburst or butterscotch one. I guess I’m a traditionalist.
I want the deluxe in spite of the way the guy played his Mercury one
Nice playing, Mason & Chris
Y666
the last guy is f*ckin sick!..
Chitarra fantastica
There is some interesting playing styles going on with these young players. Some are very tasty and some just nasty. I'm not sure where Molly Miller is coming from but I would like to hear her in a band situation to understand how that playing works. It's good to see the guitar is alive and well and young players are breathing life into them.
👌🏻👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🔥🎶🔥🎶🔥🎶 i love Telecaster
I am interested in this guitar. Does fender offer set up options before shipping? Like tuning and adjusting the action and so forth?
Tone has so much chime especially maple neck.
More Dr Molly... Matching fingernails with guitar looked and sounded badass.
Nice fender is keeping cool modern colors in the lineup like dark knight. I have a butterscotch telecaster which is kind of boring and another American performer in honey that looks good classic... but I really dig the modern ones too...so just ordered the dark night. Fender is making some killer guitars for the price. My performer telecaster is absolutely perfect and sound incredible... I hope the dark night sounds as good or I'll send it back.
so what did you end up doing?
@@bradolfsen7935 I actually liked the performer in honey burst better. I liked the sound of it better too... so sent the dark knight professional II back... but both were great guitars. I added a freeway switch to my performer too which gave it more switching options
@@thadlogan51 thanks alot for the reply 😀
i'm debating between the two but leaning more towards the pro since i'll probably be buying the deluxe case anyway and that's the majority of the difference in price. does the performer also have the rolled fingerboard?
@@rainypath96 so I ended up buying both. I didn't notice that one was better than the other at all. I just ended up keeping the performer before I ended up liking the honey color vs the dark night. I changed it to cream pickguard which made it look waaaay better. And I bought a freeway switch that gave it the same extra time as the push push on the professional II but also two additional reverse phase tones. My performer oddly came with a hard case... so the case wasn't deciding factor. I didn't care for the pickups on the professional II as much for clean sounds but both guitars have killer pickups...it just depends on whether you want a classic or slightly more modern sound. My performer has rolled edges. It's absolutely perfect and stays in tune. I don't think you can really get a better telecaster even if you spend more... it's all just good marketing. Both the professional II and performers are great guitars... for the added hard case and push push the professional may be worth it.... depends on color you like really. I was really torn between the two and still all sometimes...
If Molly and John Mayer jammed together it would be a goofy face-off.
Looks & Sound Beautiful..!! 💯👍👌

Not a fan of the Deluxe demos. The video put out a week ago was better. Also thoroughly enjoyed
R.J. Ronquillo's demo. Now to get one in my hands to try myself.
make that teal baby wail MR!

Good golly Ms. Molly!
0:12 Lady, doing stupid faces won't make you play better.
can we please hear the instruments rather than the pedalboard
I gotta get one before I die # bucket list probably not to be time is against me fo sho bucket list
Was this guitar demo or a pedal demo ? I couldn't hear the guitars just the pedals Someone did not think this through.
One of the best 'stank' faces haha
Skank face indeed !
Yes, you do have one of those faces don't you. Thanks for letting us all know little boy.
Anyone know the second amp?
Video says it's a '57 custom deluxe
tounge out rocking lady
wonderful................a female joe walsh..........loved it............h6 ukvet
Mason is much better!
What’s up with all those faces?
Someone let a big fart loose and they all had to record within the fart cloud....
God bless u
Damn... so Molly Miller apparently rips. Umm, you better watch out, Bonnie Raitt...
We are just gonna ignore the girl having a stroke at the beginning? or is it being censored because "diversity"
A stroke ??? I thought she was gonna use her tongue to play a lick hahaha 😅😂😳
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Molly Miller..... look if your going to get girls playing guitar at least find some that can play.
oh good, some sexist comments. Im not saying shes a virtuoso like Yngwie, but shes literally just as good as anyone else in the video.
@@guitarplayer8918 Yngwie isn’t a good measurement of guitar credibility... she also is playing such tasteless crap whilst Mason is playing beautifully and something that doesn’t sound like everyone else.
First demo lady needs to work on her articulation. Jesus Christ sometimes she’d be picking faster than what her fretboard hand was wanting to play.
💙 👀
Первая дамочка явно мама'с литтл хэлперс себе кое-куда литтл хэлпнула 🙃
Heard nothing but pedals, poor demo of the instruments.
Imagine being mad about hearing how each player uses the instrument
Wtf was that? Lol 0:05
Grow up little boy and stop posting immature disgusting profanity on public forums. How pathetically sad that your parents did not train you to be a real man, a gentleman of moral character.
I’ve been playing for 40+ years, tons of shows, this is not the most played by any sense
This really sucked. M. Lemmo will embarrass all of you when he demos the new Fender guitars. Can't wait to see his video. You Fender guys need to practice.
She’s a good player but what a goofball lol
Little to much face grinning 🤏🏻
Buy an original series these are covered in nasty polyester I have owed both dumped my professional series never looked back necks are nice though big frets are just not necessary 👍
Her face expression has turned me against this very beautiful guitar.
Her timing was aids

Is that a joke?
@@joeboonmusic4004 nope

As soon there is an American girl playing an instrument there are half milions views. Creepy.
