I had never sewed before and just completed a bag following your steps. Great stuff!
That makes me so happy!!! Enjoy your new bag 😁
you prolly dont care at all but does someone know a trick to get back into an Instagram account??
I somehow forgot my login password. I would love any tricks you can give me.
@Jabari Jaxton instablaster =)
@Amir Drake thanks for your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm.
I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Amir Drake It worked and I actually got access to my account again. I am so happy:D
Thank you so much, you saved my account!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge of making this bag as well as the links to purchase the fabric. Look forward to your next video.
Thank you!!! Glad you enjoyed 😁
I made 3 of these in different sizes! Great tutorial!!
Amazing!! I would love to see them!
Awesome, thank you for the video - just made one for my partners gravel bike and it turned out sweet!!!
Amazing!! I'd love to see pics 🤩
Here's a tip for bar mounting-- Instead of sewing hook and loop strips back to back, just buy Velcro OneWrap, which is a single strip with both sides. It's thin, strong and holds really well. I use it to attach my DIY frame bags.
Wow! Love this hot tip, thank you!!
Brilliant! Updated in the supplies section of the description
Well done! WOW!
Highly recommend a try!!! ✌️
This is soooo cute! I'm gonna make something similar.
Definitely let me know how it turns out and have fun!! 💓
Great tutorial, thanks! I made a similar one a couple of years ago; the design was shamelessly stolen from Roadrunner Bags' 8" x 5" Burrito Supreme bag, but I used a plush brown paisley upholstery fabric with a light brown fabric lining (couldn't find pink at the time), and some plastic embroidery mesh as a stiffener. Not to scare you, but as I didn't have access to a sewing machine, I made it entirely by hand. 🙃 The mesh isn't very stiff, and I carry a lot of stuff, so it sags; I'm currently trying to figure out how to fix that.
One tip; you can tack the velcro to the webbing so it doesn't fall off. Oh, and another one; I used shock cord and a squeezy whatsit for the stem attachment. And I wish I'd added side pockets.
Again, thanks for the tutorial!
Wow wow by hand! Sounds like you gotta make another one of these soon. 🤩
@@jooiride I'm busy not sewing a tool roll. By hand. 😁 I found a laptop sleeve at the thrift shop for $1, took the stitching out, took the padding out, and I have two nice large pieces of nylon and edge binding. One will be the roll, not sure yet what to do with the other. It's only been sitting, half-sewn, for a couple of months. I'll finish it Real Soon Now. 🤣
@@Korina42 I would have never thought of repurposing other bags for the fabric. Genius!
Thanks for the video!
What was the material you used for the black webbing to attach the Velcro to the bag?
I’m loving the idea of a burrito bag that won’t cost $80! Not to mention braving rites for sowing it myself 🙃
Hi! So glad you liked the video and hope you make your own bag soon! The teal blue webbing I used was a basic flat nylon webbing (you can really go down a rabbit hole here choosing which you'd like to use). The black piece was actually two pieces of single-sided velcro (one piece was the hooks, the other was the loops) that I sewed together to make a double-sided velcro (you can also google one wrap velcro if this is sounding confusing) since I didn't have any on hand. I hope this makes sense!
I can’t find the full tutorial. Can you tell me where I can find it? Also, what type of fabric did you use?
Hi Annie! Both the materials used and the pattern are in the description of the video. The fabric I used was cordura. I hope that helps!
The link for the zipper is a standard zipper, does this project require a separating zipper? Not sure how you did the topstitching if the zipper cant separate.
оч здорово получилось
thanks
You're welcome!
This is awesome! I have a fear of sewing on zippers I don't know why >
It's only scary the first time and the worst case is you just remove the stitches and start over!!
Just go for it!!
@@jooiride I KNOW I KNOW !! I Just need to try.
This seems like something you could hand sew. I don't have a machine. Would you advise against it?
You can stitch this by hand! It might just get a little tiring since the material (courdura) is quite tough. Give it a try and let me know how it goes!
At first I thought this was a bag to carry burritos around on your bike...
But of course, it is! Hahaha. Burritos may or may not have actually been in this bag...
what fabric is this again? thank youu
Cordura!
Nylon Cordura! I have it linked in the description. 😊
1) you make this sound/ look so easy (it's not)
2) you could've made the bag as wide as the zipper
3) are you going to be selling these?
I'd buy one =)
hahaha! I have a LITTLE bit of experience sewing things. I'm not sure I'll be selling them just yet because I haven't 100% nailed down the perfect (personal) process. But I think I'll be doing a giveaway eventually! B-)
@@jooiride put me on the list when you decide to sell 'em!
Will do! Thank youuuu! 🙌
nice quick demo. It will not be waterproof though, just water resistant
Thank you!! I would love to see your creations if you end up making a burrito bag!
Why pay 40$ or more for such a simple bag from a Boutique manufacturer. Make your own!

👋👋
Most men will spend 3 weeks indoors making this bag...
good motivation for getting confined at home 😋
😅 I have faith! I've had some amazing burrito bag projects sent to me from men using this tutorial!! 💓
