Interesting product. Glad to see the engagement with those in the US to correct that issue, that is a good show of service
Oh NOW there’s a video the day after I install it 😂
Glad you got it done without the tutorial!
To fix the harness in the USA find take the tape off the harness, then find the two resistors under the tape, the resistors will be connected to two pink wires on either side, you need to swap the pink wire with the green wire on both sides of the harness. It’s an extremely simple fix. But hopefully we can get new fixed harnesses sent out.
Hmmm the jumper is a red and yellow wire each with a resistor (also a black wire no resistor). The yellow wire is spliced with the resistor to the pink wire going uninterrupted from one connector to the other, while the red wire is attached through the other resistor to a red wire also running from one connector to the other. The green wire runs uninterrupted from one connector to the other without any splices.
Are you saying remove the yellow wire with the resistor from the pink wire and move it with the resistor to the green?
Mine arrives this week super excited to get this installed!!
Enjoy! It makes a big difference :)
I just hope they address the harness issue for US spec and send out a replacement module... (Pink/green wires)
@@daenigma We're looking into a harness for the US Spec. The harness was made for the non-US spec
@@iilumowill you possibly be sending out the revision once corrected to recent purchases? Or at the least give instructions on how to correct it?
Is there some for the face lifted Elantra?
Can you guys make a video for the mk8 golf next?
To return back to stock, I’d have to reinstall the old module or just remove the plug and play harness?
Will this work on the 2024-2025 model N , N line etc
Will u guys be making just single color drl? I dont really want rgb but like a yellow or amber drl would be nice
will this work on the hatchback n models 2023+
Wonder if it will work on the facelift sedan 🤔
The whole wiring issues with us spec. Does that issue apply to canadian spec? I want the easiest install without issues.
It’s a North American car so I’m assuming yes
