I am going to state a fact that many people never think about and that is Pokemon has never successfully had a single patent approved for anything related to Pokemon ever. The are literally scumbags who strong arm smaller companies to shut them down while not actually having any actual power. Now these strong arm cases work for Nintendo because they live in Japan where the court system is busted as fuck and where corruption is so insanely high that the sad reality is that Nintendo is a Demon Lord that controls Japan like the tyrants they are. As much as I love Palworld there is a high chance the game might get shut down do to corruption. There is an out and to avoid the completely shut down of Pal World what needs to be done is Pocket Pair moving its headquarters to America. America actually protects companies in these kind of cases more than anywhere else on the planet. If they moved their headquarters to America then it would be an international incident and America has the law on its side while the corrupted court system of Japan would be screwed and the lawsuit could be switched to an American court which would cause Nintendo to be fined and actual punishments brought against them for the literal crimes against humanity Nintendo has been pulling. If Pal World moves its main headquarters to America the law can defend them but if they stay in Japan there is too high of a chance they will get destroyed in the corrupt court system. Hell if Pal World moved its main headquarters to America there are endless lawyers and people that will stand with them and hell Microsoft would defend Palworld if only to destroy Nintendo once and for all. Hell Nintendo is pissed that their company is dying and instead of actually trying to fix its destroyed reputation and be a descent company it is instead flailing and attacking others trying to cause as much destruction before its complete demise. Nintendo is a dead company that is grasping at everyone and trying to cause as much destruction before it fully shuts down. Nintendo is a mad dog and it needs to be put down and there is 1 way for that to happen and that is for Pal World to move to America and defend itself using the world court system which would cause a true international court and they could easily get Microsoft to help them because they have a common interest and that is the complete destruction of Nintendo. In Japanese court corruption is on the side of Nintendo but in world court they have the backing of the law and Nintendo are enemies to humanity for their crimes against humanity which would be a legit case and it would be the final nail in the coffin of Nintendo.
Monster Rancher was released nearly 20 years before Pokemon and that requires orbs and its a battle pet and catching game and raising and farming. Tamagochi reaeased in the 1970s they came in a ball shape and it allowed catching and raising the creatures as pets. Digimon original movie was in 1949 and then came out again in 1987. Dragon Quest originates from 1981 and you catch creatures in balls. Robopawn originates from 1989. Pokemon was first released in 1998 but they claim its from 1995 which is a blatant lie. Now the first idea of Pokemon was released in 1995 but that was a well it was a magical girl show with a literal pink blob the stole from Digimon and it was a magical girl show where they had girls and boys changing into costumes to fight princes and princesses from other castle kingdoms from other worlds and it was a blatant rip off of Sailor Moon. Pokemon as we know it now originated in the video games in 1998 and Pallet Town Heros the first television show first aired in the Summer of 2002. Pokemon 2000 was released in 2004. Pokemon 2001 was released in 2002. Pokemon the first movie was released in 2003. Pokemon releases were all fucked up and they were done that way to confuse the hell out of people so that people telling the truth would look insane for trying to state these realities but imagine how us kids felt when tryin to keep the movies straight. Also here is a really stupid fact. The card called Ancient Mew that is claimed to be written in Egyptian is written in Norse Runes making it Norse meaning Odin and Loki and Thor type of language not Egyptian. I can translate it and holly shit I don't think there is a stronger card. It it literally broken as fuck. Its a base card so it can be played on turn 0. Its health is 40 plus 40 per each psychic energy attacked to it. Its attacks work like this. The top one activates first and has 2 effects which 1 being remove a psychic energy from this card during standby phase to remove all damage and effects from it basically return to full health and blatantly perfect condition and send that psychic energy to the grave yard and then the second part of the effect is to add a psychic energy from either the graveyard or the deck to Ancient mew and the 3rd part of the first effect is its immune to your opponents specialized effects blatantly meaning it can't be returned to the deck nor can your opponent do basically anything to remove it from play at all. Then its attack is requires 2 psychic energies and its attack is 40 plus 40 for every psychic energy attached to it. Blatantly each turn you can equip 2 psychic energies to it. Turn 1 its HP is 120 and its attack is 120 and turn 2 its attack is 200 and its HP is 200 and turn 3 its attack is 280 and its HP is 280 and turn 4 its attack and HP is 360 and turn 5 its attack and HP is 440. Blatantly it already starts off as the single most powerful of its time and by like turn 6 its the singles strongest card in the game except for like those really rare specialized stupid cards that have like 900 attack but those cards require like 15 turns to use them at all and well Ancient Mew is going to destroy any chance of keeping the cards required to summon them on the field long enough to even attempt to use them at all. Basically all you need is 3 Ancient Mews and nothing but psychic energies in your deck and you can't be defeated. There are 2 cards that can defeat it but you would need to use cards to manipulate coin flips to where you can cause an infinite loop of coin flips until you do enough damage and weirdly the only 2 cards that can do that are an Ekans and a Charmander because they have abilities that for every correct coin flip you do 10 damage but you need to be able to successfully get heads 12 times in a row on turn 1 and on turn 2 you need to be able to do 20 heads in a row. Yea you need to manipulate the ability to keep flipping until you get enough heads to kill the ancient Mews but that would require 9 cards to be able to properly set up the infinite loop meaning you need to stack the deck or have cards that allow you to manipulate the deck just for that 1 combo but doing that is so stupid and insane its too nearly impossible to rely upon at all.

From what I've been hearing, Microsoft is also supporting Palworld, so they might get involved as well. Sony & Microsoft backing-up Pocket Pair might cause Nintendo to drop the lawsuit then & there, since Nintendo's litigious abilities/reputation makes up a sizeable portion of their power(if not the majority of it) & I don't think they want to risk losing that by taking-on someone with enough backing to call their bluff.
Although we don't know what patent infringements are being violated, but Nintendo owns patents for many game mechanics such as aiming, throwing (an object), catching, recruiting, releasing (from an object), free movement during combat, dodging, jumping, sleeping, mounting, riding, flying, item droppings, collecting, harvesting, foraging, crafting, day-night cycle, in-game clock, storing and sorting inventory, and even boss battles in video games and 3D environments (and the list of their patents goes on and on much further than those few example I listed here). So there are many possibilities for what this Nintendo vs PocketPair lawsuit is about, although most people think it's most likely that you throw an aimed object to catch and recruit a creature with it and then release a creature from that object into the combat (note that the patent doesn't define the shape of the object and it can be, for example, a sphere, cube, pyramid, icosahedron, disk, card, spinning top, watch or digivice and etc.). And this is a bit worrisome because it is uncertain what this lawsuit means for the future of the game industry and development and whether Nintendo will have a more active role in the future in demanding permission and paid licenses for mechanics that they consider to be their intellectual property.
mind giving Nintendo a wake up call to their relentless legal bs. They’re only propped up by legalities that on paper is ok but in practice many people will disagree with. I’ve seen so many content creators get slammed by their lawyer vultures because they’re too afraid to look anything but perfect in their eyes.
Despite me liking Pokèmon, Pokémon should be ashamed of itself on bullying other monster franchises like Digimon, Monster Rancher, Yu-Gi-Oh, Neopets, Yo-Kai Watch, Palworld, TemTem, Monster Hunter, Bakugan, Monsuno or Moshi Monsters for Pokémon to stay on top. If Pokémon wins the lawsuit, it would be the end for various monster franchises like Digimon, Monster Rancher, Yu-Gi-Oh, Neopets, Yo-Kai Watch, Palworld, Bakugan, Monster Hunter, Monsuno, or Moshi Monsters.
Companies owning ideas is such a mistake waiting to happen. But what does nintendo care, they never respected fair use in the first place; and it's become increasingly clear they've been demanding a captive market, and when they can't get that they instead ruin the industry standards to preemptively prevent further competition. Boycotting them into poverty is the only way they'll learn. And your ending sentiment is exactly why they've always pandered to being 'family friendly', they know nostalgia is deceptively powerful and have been exploiting it for decades to keep a generation of whales.
In Pokemon, you can't capture humans like Palworld. Arceus is the only Pokemon game that has you sneak to catch pokemon without battle. Palworld has to win so the Pokemon company needs to learn what people want and make their games better unlike the recent games.
If Nintendo and TPC Ruin Gaming For Us Older Fans, We Should Boycott Nintendo, The Switch 2 And The New Pokemon Games Until They Stop Making Crappy Games And Selling Us Crappy Games For $60...
4:12 absolutely yes. This is nothing but jealousy and pettiness. There have been plenty of creature capture games and Nintendo let them slide. Those games just did not blow up like Palworld. Nintendo saw that Palworld actually posed a threat and instead of making a better game they would rather snuff out the competition.
I'm telling ya the only aspect about that game similar enough to even warrant a potential lawsuit is using balls to capture monsters and storing them in what is supposedly a PC.
Nintendo is crushing a competitor before it can become a genuine threat, and unfortunately the people of Japan are overwhelmingly on their side because of how their culture is. Palworld rips off Pokemon in numerous ways. Craftopia rips off BotW in numerous ways. While that generally isn't looked on too hard here in the West, in Japan, where fair use laws don't exist, it's considered rude and an insult to the original creator to copy their work in any way, even fanart. This is because Japan's culture is much more conservative and traditionalist than our own, with a particular emphasis on politeness and respect. Nintendo is a greedy company, but their practices and tactics are deeply rooted in the existing culture of Japanese business and society.
im still supise that nintendo innocent compare to microsoft or sony. even though nintendo worst. they repeated hate smash community especially OG. Pokemon fan still pay for game while lucklaster of excuse (we remove all pokemon to work on visual and gameplay.. people found they still using XY asset) and many more example i cant name atm.

also they are doing it because they are afraid trashtendo is trash but its the fans fault so many games no one complained thats what killed pokemon they stoped carring because they say those losers will buy our game no need to worry and what do you get you guys get nothing new just some dumb cretures nerf of older once and new maps that to me is not a new game if it was world of warcraft and warframe woud have 30 games in 1 they dont care for you they just want your money if they did care they will do what pocket pear dose give you updates on everything new not make a game and are like hers a game now give us your money we dont care about you we just care about your money im surprised they did not do a lawsuit on tem tem because yk that game is a creture fighthing game thats turn based
Anyway ip experts have been weighing in on this one saying palworld could actually win this as Nintendo has little to no claim any direct IP infringement.
"We're going to make Pokemon with guns." They were already dead right there, from Pre-Alpha. (legally) Nintendo just waited to see how far this goes: "Oh, they're talking to Microsoft and Sony for future deals. They want an anime. Palworld made a lot of money too? Great, great It's time to sue. Let's end this annoyance once and for all."
I think people are saying it's game mechanics from the wording used in the filing presented so far. Had to do with the Poke ball mechanics and if not creature designs, only that can qualify as patent, right? If anything ambiguous beyond that, not sure how it would hold up in court. I suppose pattern of behavior is the educated guess of anyone, even lawyers that have chimed in on it that people then repeat as why speculation is on that particular thing.
Has the thing been filed? The last video I saw was Mutahar's and he showed all the docs so far - that wasn't included? Unless I missed that bit? If it's out I'll do a follow up video. I recorded this one about 18 hours ago. I did some serious googling even in Japanese and couldn't find it.
@@oldmanbanjo According to those who have looked at some of the files, they noticed an interesting detail: They left a blank space on the allegation. That means even Nintendo are not certain if the allegation actually holds any legal standing.

Pokemon fan still pay for game while lucklaster of excuse (we remove all pokemon to work on visual and gameplay.. people found they still using XY asset) and many more example i cant name atm.
Nintendo? Angry at a successful inspired game? After killing any ideas of innovating the Pokemon formula from non-profit fan games? How ignorant can one "successful" company get?
both
F Nintendo tiered of there bs the game was better then yours get over it
also they are doing it because they are afraid trashtendo is trash but its the fans fault so many games no one complained thats what killed pokemon they stoped carring because they say those losers will buy our game no need to worry and what do you get you guys get nothing new just some dumb cretures nerf of older once and new maps that to me is not a new game if it was world of warcraft and warframe woud have 30 games in 1 they dont care for you they just want your money if they did care they will do what pocket pear dose give you updates on everything new not make a game and are like hers a game now give us your money we dont care about you we just care about your money im surprised they did not do a lawsuit on tem tem because yk that game is a creture fighthing game thats turn based
Anyway ip experts have been weighing in on this one saying palworld could actually win this as Nintendo has little to no claim any direct IP infringement.
nintendo gonna be called a black company at this rate lol
Aged like milk
The ends justify the means🤡
"We're going to make Pokemon with guns." They were already dead right there, from Pre-Alpha. (legally)
Nintendo just waited to see how far this goes:
"Oh, they're talking to Microsoft and Sony for future deals. They want an anime. Palworld made a lot of money too? Great, great It's time to sue. Let's end this annoyance once and for all."
At no point did PocketPair mention Pokemon in the _advertising_ of Palworld.
So source your quote.
Nintendo kills everything they can, they don't wait for nearly a year unless they couldn't find (or _manufacture)_ anything sooner.
@@nullpoint3346 They knew what their intentions were. Palworld didn't have to say anything. The fake electobuzz holding the gatling gun said it all.
@@oldmanbanjo Give me a moment to pull up the most applicable patent numbers.
@@oldmanbanjo Here are the two most applicable patents I have found.
Patent 20230191255
Patent 20240278129

I haven't really went in-depth to the contents of these patents so idk
This one is not applicable I just want to point it out because it seems way too vague regarding walking along a recommended route, don't really want to go through reading it now: 20230107349
