Excellent videos, you were born to be a plumber, how about a video of kitchen, bathroom shut off valves and what type do you recommend to install, compression, push on or soldered and also how to replace the bib washers to keep it from leaking. Thanks again

30:45 ---> OMG SMH serious code violation, esp. under the kitchen sink drain! Needs to be in a box and accessible, least he has the accessible part. Steve nice repair job here, I like how you do sink drains.

Baby Dog is so sweet! I wish she were mine.....The big box stores sell several "specialty" tools for removing and installing kitchen drains. I notice you use basic long-handled pliers, so I guess the specialty tools aren't really necessary?

Nice work Steve. It all looked neat and uniform when you were done, and it will never leak! That sucks to have to come to find the line needed to be snaked when you were ready to pack up and leave. Is it cold in MA? Here in NJ it's about 17 degrees. It's heating season mama!

I am still having a hard time finding a place that sells this dishwasher wye. can you tell me where you buy them. I also would like to know what size tubing you were using to connect the dishwasher to the wye?
I thoroughly enjoy your videos and look forward to them every week. Thanks for taking the time to make them.

I dropped a nail into my basement sink and used bad judgment in removing the drain plug from the lead trap.... yea, the plug would not stop dripping when I reinstalled it and I eventually stripped it. So, I cut the old lead piping out. I don't know why I didn't just wait until tomorrow and try to find a rubber expansion plug. I hate replacing the old lead stuff with plastic. Every house has a mix of piping but it would have been nice to keep it all lead under the sink..... it is a mishmosh now.

It's not just the horrendous amount of bacteria that exist in drains, dust and grime on the work site, a lot of the dirt you work in can stain your hands for days. I try to wear gloves for jobs I never even considered before :)
