I’m also on Ravelry as Mamaof2, although I’m not super active on there. 😊
We are a family of four, working hard to eat healthily, live frugally, pay off our mortgage early and save/invest for retirement. We’ve lived below the poverty line for many years and have now got our heads above that line. Our household income remains well below the national average in the UK but we have paid off all of our debt, including our mortgage.
It’s all hands on deck to save and invest for our retirement and for our children’s futures. We hope that we can put them in a position where they don’t have to struggle financially, as we have, and that we can break the generational cycle of poverty that we have experienced.
We all have different issues with food, including food sensitivities, so I shop to work around those considerations.
If you have found anything in this video useful, please give me a thumbs up and subscribe for more healthy eating and frugal living with a debt-free purpose 😊.

Thanks for watching 😊.
I’m sure all of your viewers can appreciate the need for you to keep aspects of your life private. I don’t know what you are experiencing but I do know I think you are just lovely, wish that I could help, and hope the best for you. You don’t need to share or tell us anything. We’re just happy to see you when we do. 😊
I appreciate that Ayela. XXX
You’re 100% right there. My thoughts exactly 👏

@@JehanineMelmoth That's so lovely Cathy xxxx
When you said you'd have to find your loop....is that a magnifying glass? The coat from Wales is beautiful. My parents were married in Wales during WWII. They loved it there and said it was so gorgeous. The Scottish sweater is a marvelous color. So wonderful to see you again with all your treasures. We have missed you!! Love from Debbie and Dexter-Dog my sweet rescued Chihuahua companion living a quiet crafty life in southern California. USA. The boat painting is fabulous!!🐶🐾🐣🐥🐰💙💚😄
I’m glad you are doing well and posted an update. I love all the treasures you found in the charity shops.
Hi Tess..sending hugs your way..💐💕.. lovely to see you..😘
I’ve just got home after major repair surgery to my shoulder so in a lot of pain but I found this lovely vlog and first up you hold up a beautiful Johnson’s jug - My Mum had this set❤️ What a treat to see that pattern again. Thank you Tess made my day😍 I hope whatever is making life difficult starts to ease, sending love 💗
Oooh, I hope you recover quickly and well from your surgery. All the best xxx
That coat is gorgeous! I would have a hard time letting it go. The clock is quite handsome and modern looking. Good hauls!
The coat is lovely. It looks a very nice quality.
Hi Tess, that blue & white jug is beautiful & would look gorgeous with bright yellow daffodils in. Have a great weekend x
It would!
Strangely just before you said it I thought the Johnson Bros jug would be lovely for custard! We are a big custard family 😂 Yes, I have loads of jugs, I find them hard to resist.
I love blue and white ware,, that jug is beautiful!
That retro jug is lovely and I agree - filled with custard it would be even better!
You have a good eye. I love that coat and the jug!
Thanx Tess... I love op shop finds and I would love to clean up and sell beautiful pieces like what you have found if I didn't have so much going on in life.
Maybe when I work less this could be a kind of job I could do 🧡💛
The pan is a fab memory of my nanny and grandads visits they had a set of these all their lives 😍
Hi Tess, the ‘ring’ is similar to a thimble. The wide part fits over your finger pad. Good kit for sashimi. X
You are a delight. 🌷
So good to see you Tess, I have missed your lovely smile and your videos 💚
You can't beat a good skip scavenge.
If we saved all of our grandparents stuff it would be worth a small fortune now
Oh I really like the mirrors 💕 I have posted a few items for sale myself today. I bought a side table a while back, I gave only £5 for it, then, when I came home with it, I found out its a really expensive table, made of birch from a well known Norwegian designer. The brass bracket label is stillunderneath. So I am trying to get £150 for it, which is cheap. They sell new for around £700. Used anywhere from my price up to the sales price. Then I posted a couple of table lamps. And snow chains. Hope it will sell, because I have a lot of things coming up, like the chimney sweeper, car service and the garbage collecting, all in one month. I have saved up a little buffer, but hope not to dip into that. 😊 You can´t go wrong with wool 💕
You looked beautiful today! Sorry you are going through a tough spot.
Lovely picture of the boats, I live in Kings Lynn, not far from Burnham Overy Staithe
Life can get busy can’t it? Always great to see you!
I love the ring, and you’ve transformed that enamel pan! I love seeing your hauls, and the treasures you find for little or nothing. That lovely print - in someone’s home rather than in landfill, thanks to you!
Welcome back, Tess!!! I'm glad to see you back!
All the items are very nice! I hope they sell well for you.
Sending you a big hug 🤗
Love the jug and the coat!
Awe, fab to see a video from you. Currently 12AM, in bed with a cup of coffee and watching your video. Some fantastic finds, I adore the jug, I instantly thought flowers so maybe Slimming world is working as I never associated food with it 😂🤣. I also love the coat. I'd wear it with jeans, brown pointy toe ankle boots and a white or cream blouse.
I am going to have a nosey at your etsy page, I haven't had a look from before Christmas.
I hope you are OK and the 3 lovely males in your house are also OK.
You still smile, but you aren't just as sparkly Tess. Life is wonderful at throwing us a curve ball, whether we want it or not, or whether we have the time or not. In fact, life can be very cheeky and bold when it wants to be .
Great to see your happy wee face and listen to your lovely voice, and I know I speak for everyone when I say look after yourself and your boys, we will all still be here. I hope things will soon become less manic and you get more 'me' time. Gosh as mums and even wives Tess we need meeeeeeeeeeeeee time . Take care and God bless xxx
I’m from Wales. Living in Oxford now but I really miss Wales. I saw you were in Bridgend and Cowbridge a little while ago - my old stomping ground! Anyway my Nan had a coat exactly like that. I can still see her wearing it in my minds eye xx. Lovely to see you back xx
Happy to see you back and well. Always love your videos and love to see what you have been able to find in charity shops and for free! You have a great sense of what is worthwhile and pretty and you have really good luck. I guess over time one develops a sense for these things. Anyway, life can get busy and complicated so don't worry about not posting so regularly. I always look to see if you've posted anything and look forward for when you do. Be well!
I'm always glad to see a video from you even if we wait a bit. No problems. Life can be very busy. I love the blue and white jug you are keeping. It's a great piece. You are awesome at getting stains and burned stuff out of pots and pans.
that free picture is amazing...good score....glad it sold quickly
So happy to see you back. I was concerned about you. Lovely items.
You did a great job cleaning the pan. It looks great. You got some lovely things on your outing to the shops. I especially like the Welsh wool coat. Beautiful.
Lovely to see you Tess. I am so glad you are keeping that pan. Isn’t it amazing the simple things that can bring us joy. I would have kept it too. Just love the look of it.😻🙏❤️
Oh, the framed print is beautiful!! Thanks for sharing!! ~C
Good to see you Tess. I love the pattern on the jug. I'm a jug lover, lol. How are the kitties? Blessings to all ❤
The Welsh wool coat is stunning 🤩
First time I am the first to comment 🎉. Nice to see your video this morning. Thank you
Yey!
We have very, very little vintage anything here. I sold on ebay for several years and loved looking for goodies. I gravitated toward vintage, too. Then, i sold at a shop in town until they closed for renovations. I love the mantle clock! It’s not chunky like so many. The coat is lovely, too!
Looks like a ring for a Pashmina scarf. And that jug is a lot more elegant than the 1 pint graduated Pyrex jug I normally use to serve custard.
So many great finds -- love the coat and the print 😍. Glad your enamel pan cleaned up so well--just lovely!
Hi Tess, I am so happy to see you, I've been worried about you. You have found gorgeous stuff, enjoyed your video so much. Lots of love. ⚘️
Wonderful video. So many beautiful vintage bargains - you have such a good eye Tess.
🥰
Great finds as usuall Tess . Lovely to see you xx
What a beautiful jug! I love blue and white come to think of it, I like most bright colours. I also think that ring is a scarf loop. Love that Welsh weave in that wool jacket, and it looks couture, the size 16 is probably old sizes and I wonder if it is vintage. Glad you were able to get out with your busy schedule...please take care.
Always good seeing you again..just do what you are able to do...from Michigan where our snow is melting.😊
So good to see you. Love your enamel pan, too. Enjoy. Susan
I have a double fronted Victorian cottage. A mirror similar to that sits proudly in my hallway.
Lovely!
Good to see you again x
I think it is a scarf clip. My mum had something similar. If it’s not one, it looks like it would work as one - perfect I should think with a fine silk scarf.
Great to see you back Tess.
Lovely to see you Tess! What lovely things you find! I love the jug, reminds me of being at my granny's house on a Sunday, she always had a huge jug of custard! 😊
Tess, thar Welsh wool coat is awesome!!
not even seen the video but soooooooooo( that 9 ?) missed you - hope all is well within your family and understand the pressure you are under - living your life working and sharing it must be tough ---- but I am really selfish - I want the ins and outs, whys and wherefores and what colour Dorothys sheets are this week !!! calmed down now ! Hi - Hello - great to see you xxx
P.S. Dorothy was my Mums neighbour who used to be a bit exuberant with her bedding ( and who she shared them with X)
Could that silver ring been a palm thimble?
Worn on the middle finger
How do you navigate Etsy, been trying to lijst on there but finding it very difficult
Tell us your eBay or an item number to search edit ** don't worry I found it 😂
