After reading the comments and realizing half of us cried when they walked through the gates I’m sending virtual hugs to all!!!
When people said they were going to cry, I thought , “Yeah,ok”.....then they walked in and all the cast members waving 😭!

Thats what did it for me. Seeing all the cast members waving & excited to welcome guests back inside just broke me! Then seeing KT & Spence tearing up broke me even more! 🥺

Hello Spencer, took notice that you were featured on another Channel, Fresh Baked and you made no hesitation in complaining and calling it Ridiculous with regarding standing in line. Please be mindful, nobody's twisting your arm to be there. As you have shared, Disney and Cast Members are doing there best to bring good times. With the limited guest entry, hopefully others will be able to visit and have the Wonderful experience you both had.
I was referring to myself stretching being ridiculous. Its called self deprecation. I was being ridiculous by stretching because there was no benefit to stretching considering we were going to be in line for multiple hours. If you watch our video you can literally hear us talk in depth about how we love to queue up for hours as Disney fans even for something as basic as a new churro flavor. We also said how that is part of the experience in general. Do you think we didnt know what time it was gonna open? By willfully getting there at 630 for a 945 entry means we would have to wait in line for hours purely by design alone. Sorry that you took a comedic self deprecating moment as serious.

I love you, guys. i love that you all show how emotional this is because nobody will ever understand it all. These Disney parks are literally your playground...growing up to adulthood. Not having this opened is a big chunk torn away from your lives. I get it. I love the tears because these are tears of release and joy. Release the bottled up frustrations and stress and the joy of being HOME.

I cried walking into DTD and stage 17 after 9 months.
I still get choked up every time I walk under the train bridge with saying just like i did at 4yrs old and meeting walt Disney him self with my dad and that’s really saying how old I am! So spencer don’t say being almost 50 and choking up I do it too and I’ve got 15 yrs on you and I know I’m gong to be crying walkIng in again! ( just wish I wasn’t 4-5 hrs away!)

stupid how teary i got watching this.... there's so much more to DL than the place...its the people and memories and things you share there. that's what gets me, there's an actual place on this planet where people can just relax, be happy, forget about the heaviness of life for a bit, be with loved ones and just remember the delight of childhood. i will need tissues when i go for sure.....thanks for sharing this with everyone

As a former cast member at a Disney store that unfortunately closed I can say, it is definitely in our hearts. I got so emotional watching you guys enter, it just made me think of what I feel every time I'm either in a park or a store. ✨
The thing some people don’t get it’s that they are more than parks to some of us. I’m almost 40 and people are surprised at how much I love Disney. It’s about memories, moments shared, as a kid life was crappy but no matter what was going on in the family, we were always happy at Disneyland. I remember mom working so much to be able to take us maybe twice a year. It takes us back to great times and making new memories with new friends. :))
Blind, and now we see.....we are all nerds. Back to work, and back to the enjoying, such an awesome balance of special....

When Katie saw the music box and said she wanted it, she looked like the kids looking at the toys in the department store window in the beginning of The Christmas Story and it was just so pure and good. Love you guys, thanks for bringing us Disney magic.

How much fun do you all have today at DCH and we were also so happy to see it open again. We both had tears in our eyes to and I swear it seems like Walt Disney's statue with Mickey his smile is better than it was before. He is so happy to see everyone back on property. Fun to see everyone. Yeah

My husband and I haven’t been watching your channel for very long but while watching this and, Katie, your reaction to being back in the park brought me to tears! I feel you and I are the same person! When we are able to go back again my husband and i would LOVE to meet you both! Thank you for all you have done to keep our love of Disneyland alive during this shutdown!
Also, interesting to think about how often you all get to go! We have taken a trip maybe once a year or every other year. But, wow---each trip is so special and full of such amazing memories. I'm thankful for any opportunity to go. Thanks for making videos for all of us to enjoy in between trips!
