You’re such a pro! Love your analysis of this. I really appreciate Ariana’s lower register too, it’s nice to hear her in that way :) The way you react to her little runs and riffs is so cute haha. And «let’s look at that larynx position» hahah. Good whistle tips! And you look so nice and summery in that top 🤗 Thank you so much for the lovely mention ☺️🙏
We met on UA-cam when you were trying to hit 1k subscribers about a year ago and now you're at almost 15k. Wow, how awesome! Keep up the great content! 🥰👍💖
Also The Weeknd Voice mixes well with Lana Del Rey. The Weeknd Once Admitted All His Music Is About Lana Del Rey.In particular, The Weeknd and Lana Del Rey have worked together a few times. And The Weeknd once admitted just how important Del Rey is to his music de el. On the surface, The Weeknd and Del Rey might seem like very different artists. After all, The Weeknd’s music hip hop and soul sound feels more in line with someone like Ariana Grande. Meanwhile, Del Rey’s career lives much more in line with rock-infused pop. However, the two artists are much more similar than the genres of their music might reveal. For instance, The Weeknd and Del Rey both often capture a dream-like quality in their songs. In addition, their lyrical content dips into dark territory, such as their preoccupation with drug references. So it makes sense they would work well together. And so they have. Beginning with The Weeknd's 2015 single “Prisoner,” they've worked together on five songs. In a 2015 interview with Pitchfork, The Weeknd explained the interconnected nature of Del Rey's music and his own de él. “Me and Lana have been friends for a long time. I've inspired her. She’s inspired me. I feel like we've always been talking to each other through our music. She is the girl in my music, and I am the guy in her music by ella. It's just this ghostly collaboration that feels the most natural on the whole [Beauty Behind the Madness] album. Even the whole monologue intro on “Lonely Star” from [my 2011 mixtape] Thursday - I just realized now that that's Lana. That’s Lana’s voice of her. I mean, it's my voice from her pitched up, but it's her from her. It’s who she is. She was definitely the first feature that I wanted to bring on this album. " The Weeknd and Del Rey are more than just collaborators, it seems. The pair’s music - according to The Weeknd - is spiritually linked. Perhaps this revelation puts into context not only the collaborations between these two but their respective catalogs as well. Their first collaboration was in 2015 with Prisioner in BBTM by The Weeknd, in 2016 on the Starboy album with Party Monster on which Lana did backing vocals and Stargirl Interlude. And in 2020, The Weeknd on the radio show Memento Mori turned out to have a Money Power and Glory remix of Lana del Rey's Ultraviolence album that would be featured on The Weeknd's Kissland album and Lust For Life in Lana's album Lust for Life
Hi Jennifer~ I hope your ok and enjoying the warm weather..I really enjoyed that reaction~ I’ve listened to the weekend before but not a lot from Ariana Grande but my goodness hasn’t she got one powerful voice ~ I’m looking forward to the next reaction video~ just a suggestion how about super fruit Scott and Mitch from pentatonix singing imaginary parties~ it’s absolutely brilliant ~~Sending love and hugs Xxx Xxx
Hi again Jennifer. What a great performance & what a wonderful reaction. Your musical knowledge is extraordinary & your explanation is so easy to understand. Just wondering where your next Amira reaction is on your ever growing listings. Just a reminder on the performance.... “ Ave Maria by Gomez at the Canisius Church “at age 11. Cheers Graeme
Her low end has radically improved. She apparently made a priority of it. Her other traditional weakness, sloppy diction/annunciation is also incredibly improved. And this is far better than the studio version of this duet. Which honestly? Kind of sucked. It was badly produced, dull, and not very dynamic. This live version is so different, so much better. The arrangement decisions are totally different and superior.
