Making A Fantasy Alexandrite Engagement Ring

I'm a bench jeweler by trade and I design and make all my jewelry. One of my best works in 2024. This fantasy ring is made with white gold x1 which is the whitest gold on the market. I created this ring having to combine 2 different design elements together which is nature inspired jewelry and the traditional engagement ring design. I start with the foundation of the engagement ring look and apply the nature elements on top of it. I set this ring with diamonds that give the engagement ring feel and I use marquis shaped emeralds that mimic leaves for the nature look. I craft the branches and add wood texture to cover and hold the center stone, which is a special cut three carat pear alexandrite. It took a month to finish faceting the alexandrite for this ring.
