    I’d always thought that Mercutio’s mime before his death was meant to pantomime his line in the play, “a plague o’ both your houses”. Guess it could be interpreted either way! Love love love you, this ballet, and these videos!

    out of curiosity, why did you guys use real swords? I don't think you could tell whether or not they were sharpened/real from the audience, and it definitely makes things more dangerous. great video!

    Hi, Kathryn! I was wondering if you have any tips for dancers who are trying to get away from the barre on pointe, because I can do everything at barre on pointe just fine. I would just like to be able to do more without the barre. Also, do you have tips for choosing a ballet studio? I looked for the video where you gave advice for that, but I couldn't find it. Thanks! Your videos have helped me so much and I absolutely love watching them! And I love those little one-liners that you put on the t shirts. and they make me laugh every time!

    Any advice about foot pain? Specifically the middle of the foot on the bottom? It feels almost like it needs to pop but no matter which way I bend/stretch it nothing happens and I just keep getting shooting pain. I've already got issues from a broken ankle so I don't want to push it too much. Any advice?

    • @kathryn_morgan
      @kathryn_morgan 6 років тому +1

      Have you tried rolling out your arch? That can help release those muscles. It could also be that one of your bones is out of place - many dancers have a problem with their cuboid dropping.

    • @Livelovecherishelife

    Romeo and Juliet is a comedy. Until it's not. After Mercutio's death- the collateral damage of the frivolity of the main characters- there are no more jokes. It's the logical, almost satirical fallout of stupid decisions. "Oh, look at these two naive aristocratic kids playing at love! Their recklessness certainly won't negatively affect everyone around them and result in multiple fatalities!"
