I've been doing okay with channel catfish, i caught some nice ones during February and March 😅😅😅. I can't wait to get back on them next week! I'm definitely going to try your suggestions 😊😊
Never knew that line tight circle hook trick, .and yes people use toooo much weight🤔, Like how you plan for the might rain, do the same thing . May be here all day. Brought lunch.😃
@@scottzackery3209 I've been known to stay under an umbrella. I find the bite usually picks up after a rain. Most of the time I just use a Carolina rig.
Hey I'm not sure if I missed it but what was the total weight or your sinkers/weights? And how can I know how much weight I need to fish catfish? Thanks in advance!
@@BankFishingAdventures thanks for the reply. Does the casting weight on your rod determine the amount of your sinkers/weights? Is it not safe to exceed the casting weight? My current rod is only 2oz
@@almightyk.d1413 That sure is what that means. Your rod will throw 2 ounces good but 3 ounces might be too much for your rod to handle. It could break your rod by going over it and it probably won't cast it very well. With that said I usually throw a little heavier than that limit
I’m curious man what do you have covering where your rod connects? If that’s what that is one more thing if that was a flathead I’ve never seen one color that way, and he looked like a flathead, but colored like a blue
What a beautiful Catfish, @BankFishingAdventures.Thank you for sharing and have a blessed day. Stay warm and keep on fishing! 🎣🐟💯 🤙🏾ua-cam.com/video/AFrExgz_lDk/v-deo.html

I believe they were 4 ounces that day. You only need enough weight to hold the bait in place and enough for a good cast.
Thanks for watching!

That might be the reflective tape you see on the rods. It was a channel cat.
Thank you for watching!
Thanks for the info. Love the videos.
That is a freaking good one!
Thank you Dave!
Using a net on a sandy bank? Funny.
I don't lose any fish with a net so I get the last laugh.
Can’t hear you
Sorry the wind was making it difficult.
