Time for some 'New Objectivity' style music again (I love it😍), and since we’re in Lent, it’s gonna be on the serious side.✝Gottfrid Berg (not a relative) has been featured a couple of times before on my channel, and I have really grown fond of his clear cut and polyphonic style.🎵This is a hymn for Lent, and Gottfrid gives us five different takes on it, presenting the tune in the pedals to begin with, then letting it move around while each variation gets more and more lively, but not too lively…!😅The first verse goes as follows: "Lord Jesus, we give thanks to Thee That Thou hast died to set us free; Made righteous thro' Thy precious blood, We now are reconciled to God." As always, don’t forget to click the thumbs-up and subscribe!😃

Awesome music this Sunday, very humble and delightful 🙏🏻
It has a sort of quiet charm!
Almost neo-baroque but with some welcome dissonances. Good ! Ah! One question: did you receive the scores from Hook?
Oh yes, I have seen the e-mail, but I've been too busy to even open it! But thanks, I will have a look at it this week!
