    Interesting interview. Thanks for sharing.
I don't agree on the war having possibly been won by the use of ww2 strategy, though. When LBJ sent American troops into combat, RVN wasn't consulted at all. They abhorred America entering the war because they understood how nationalistic locals would see it: as a foreign invasion. It was a propaganda coup for the VC in the South. If America had rolled through Vietnam like they did in Europe after Normandy, resistance would have continued just like during the French colonial rule. It would have been a temporary victory and the corrupt RVN government would have been seen as a puppet regime, controlled by a foreign power. Let's also not forget that RVN was a dictatorship that used torture and never enjoyed popular support outside of Saigon. Just my two cents. We'll never know for sure, will we?

Exactly what JFK feared. That was the very reason we should have stayed out. The cost in deaths and injuries should never have been paid. Ukraine could result in times XXX cost.

As a Vietnam/Draft resistor...I don't think what you said was just your "two cents". It was truth and reality.

What a shame. Dog. Barking and someone writing on a sheet of paper? Little audio blips really take away from the story.

War manifests the power and brutality of mankind. Sometimes it seems it does something good and at other times it doesn't. Only God can make war in righteousness. He will bring in his kingdom. Someday Jesus Christ will be seen as the most righteous and powerful king.

@@gingerreeves2850 I didn’t! I just missed the draft by 2 months. In my little town in northern Maine we lost 128 young men in Vietnam during the duration… I didn’t have to be a SF to realize when I hear a bull shit interview.
