He has such a natural talent for conversation! He's genuinely interested in people and how they think and how they feel, so simple but so very much appreciated !
In my opinion, Susan's 'perfected awkward pause', is the finest ever on all of Craig's time on the show. You can see why she has won an Oscar with acting like that.
I quite agree about the chemistry. The way Susan 'acted' out that awkward pause to my mind made Craig look like an 'amateur' at it. After he leant back in his chair with his arms outstretched he seemed lost for what to do next, whereas Susan kept on with all the subtle, (not overdone) gestures of someone who was almost 'bored'. That is the difference between a 'great' actor and one who is more of a 'comedian' and has never really 'mastered' the finer points of acting.
I am 62 yrs old. Ever since rocky horror... she has been my fav actress. I have never seen a movie she's in where I wasn't completely enamored with her!
Susan is the greatest actor of her generation IMO. I loved Craig's "it's been lovely visiting with you" at the end of the first interview. Glad he took up giving the guests options to end with instead of that incredibly awkward ending.
Rahul Trivedy Thank you for using such an exact word: curated. I have now learnt a new word "to pull together for presentation, especially on websites". And you're welcome man! 😊
It's interesting to see her comfort level improve compared to each previous appearance. Craig had resistance on the first show trying to get into his normal zone with her as a guest. Huge chemistry difference compared to the first time she was on....I don't think her agent prepped her well enough for the first show.
Susan Sarandon from age 40 to 55 is my idea of the PERFECT woman. I LOVE women who know who they are, have strong ideals/ethics, and refuse to back down from a fight when her beliefs are questioned.
In response to everyone else's comment's "oh yeah" Her husband Is ONE LUCKY MAN. ;-) And she looks better with each appearance, Are these shown in age reverse?
Scott Wilkerson...studio audiences are encouraged to applaud via "APPLAUSE" signs, and laughter isn't always "real", either (...sometimes it's just a laugh-track). We don't think EVERYTHING is noteworthy.
Interesting. Craig hadn't started the tradition of tearing up the questions and tossing them aside yet. They stayed on his desk the entire first interview. Funny how you get so accustomed to seeing things he "always" does, then their absence becomes all the more noticeable. I thought he tore up his questions from the very beginning of the show. This proves he didn't adopt that bit until later. I do wish Geoff had been around from the very beginning. He just provides such a humorous diversion. (I'm also a certified book geek. I noticed that Geoff started having a different book on his podium every night. Wonder if anyone ever kept track of which books he had on the podium and was there ever a list of all the different books? I noticed a copy of "Twilight" on one episode, so it seems there were both fiction and non-fiction books. I don't suppose you have that information, do you The Jayleno Fly? I'm always looking for new books to add to my list. Or, even old books I don't have yet so they'd be new to me anyway...)

Christopher Lovelock shes still hot as hell!
Heartily agreed, I laughed hardest at that awkward pause than any of his ive seen before
@@shahiraaniza7865 What do you mean - China.?
Great actress. On Sesame Street she had 26 adjectives and adverbs with a different expression to go with it. Absolute classic.
Update: It's 2023. She's 76 and still lovely.
No it's not! And almost, and very yes.
Further update, it's April 2024 she's approaching 78 and she's still desirable ❤🔥🌹
I don't think that I would have ever written such a comment, but that was THE BEST AWKWARD PAUSE
“Girls are taught to deny their truth, and boys are taught to lie.” If that is true…then Humans learn to be a pretty
devious bunch all around.
She is one of the greatest actress
Natural talent. Many muvies excellent.
I am 62 yrs old. Ever since rocky horror... she has been my fav actress. I have never seen a movie she's in where I wasn't completely enamored with her!
That is a rare woman in many ways.
This woman never gets old!! She is amazing

Never seen a woman who was at her most attractive in her 50's
She's 73 now
@@g_aware_nerd That's why I like older women, there's no bu^^^^^t!
Try angela basset
You must walk around with your eyes closed.
Her seething personality is quite Bohemian.
@29:25 min. I think that was the best "awkward pause" ever on Craig Ferguson. What do you think?
I could listen to her talk all day and night
She’s very smart and very wise. Never knew that about her. I like her.
Beauty and wisdom. Incredible.
These two flow so well together :-)
'But this has to be the best episode I've seen yet. Susan is so Poignant.
Oh, I miss him so much!!!
I love how she said we are all the same regardless of our race, etc.
I've sent and shared this several times as a huge fan of them both. Never gets old.
She is a timelessly beautiful woman!!!😍
She is a great conversationalist.
What did you discuss with her?
That's a good actress right there.
That's one way to say it.
Thank You for the curated uploads.

Sultry AND provocative. The world is a better place with this woman in it.

thank you so much for the upload i really enjoyed that, you're doing an amazing job your channel is so underrated
Susan Sarandon looks better in 2014 than in 2012 -- I'm impressed. That is 42:37 versus @31:15 min.
She is so smart!
Hands down one of sexiest women on the Silver Screen.
30:00 The best awkward pause ever!!
Lovely lady. Much loved, adored, worshipped even.
What. What a sexy woman! She has magic. And great actress too.
Still one of the most attractive women alive.
She's so beautiful!
Just lovely!!!
"It's hard" that is very true Susan.
I might be one of the 35 people who have actually seen the movie "White Palace". It's not bad and her funbags in it are outstanding.
Awkward pause was the absolute best!!
not gonna lie, that little movie he came up with on the spot actually sounds interesting
She is very smart and classy.
Susan Sarandon from age 40 to 55 is my idea of the PERFECT woman. I LOVE women who know who they are, have strong ideals/ethics, and refuse to back down from a fight when her beliefs are questioned.
Please bring Craig back!! And America needs to get over their f-ing politics and realize Sarandon is one of THE best actors going
Luv Susan Sarandon
Absolutely gorgeous 😍 ❤️
Third scene did it for me....love the voice
wHATA gREAT SET!!!
SOOOOOOOO Gorgeous!!
she is just great
that was the BEST awkward pauseiveseen yet
In the end of the video, Craig whispers "I'd write a movie just to make out with you" in her ear lol
I always had the hots for Susan Sarandon even though she's 40 years older than me. there's something about her.
its the tits
She's even said, it helps to have breasts.
I was looking down her dress. 😆
Perfect perfected awkward pause!
Best pause...ever
Wow she is such a classy and beautiful women
Best awkward pause ever
Holy Hell, she just keeps getting hotter!
In response to everyone else's comment's "oh yeah" Her husband Is ONE LUCKY MAN. ;-) And she looks better with each appearance, Are these shown in age reverse?
Susan is owning Craigs additude. Women are fascinating.
She’s cool 😎

Lucky guy ... being with Susan.
Love that woman! 😍 Kevin is lucky man? 😎
They did it....Surely...
I bet not
Louise!! 💛
She is a very, very beautiful woman.
What happened between Katie Couric and Craig?
Wish I was a pitcher for the Durham Bulls!!
She s good
AND THEN #5 THE VOLUME JUST DISAPPEARED
Just once I wish they'd actually zoom out to show the studio when Craig raises his hands, and says something like, "What, all this?"
My lady love ❤️
She never did much for me BUT Atlantic City is a truly great film
Her views and comments kept trending more left throughout the appearances.

Does to me every time..😍
For some reason, the bottom half of my screen is rapidly becoming my favourite half. I'm not sure why, I just can't put my finger on it. 😁
I always felt that she could be the sister of ABBA's Frieda
Andreea Popescu Frieda is the german version, Frida is the swedish one.
What's a "rou" (or "rowl", "rau") @ 38:41?
A row is an argument.
I’d say a lot of those Hollywood actresses loved him! I don’t think he does the show anymore though…
"Well then never have a baby either, that hurts" 48:19
30:25 omg l LOVE her hahahaha
The sexual tension between them is insane!
did she say she doesn't"t like "shaved coconuts" 42:02
Susan S. have great personality. And Craig didn`t act though. Had class. That`s what it should be.
is susan sarandon anti-vax?
Wow
Agree with Clv
God i would !
Interesting.

Jesus she gets hotter the older she gets!!!
Still smokin hot too!
What a woman
She saw him drink that snake cup too much… guess that is why the lovely man isn’t on TV anymore. God love him.
Slow and gentle I am all the way
It's always amazed me how an American audience will applaud literally anything. Honey will be my Grandmother name (applause). Why?
And she has correct political views vs rest of the Hollywood
She’s quite a handful
