Wow sounds fantastic, I've heard quite a few youtubes using the MicroFreak and it always sounds killer. Hearing these specific sounds on their own, really shows what a little monster the MF is. Amazing patches you've created....gorgeous sounds! You've taken me the a place of really wanting to the MF
These patches sound lush . For 300 it’s a no brainer . It will be my first synth. I’m going to sync it to my mc303 drum machine and td3 analog bass synth .
i dont mean to be offtopic but does someone know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb forgot my login password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me!
@Giovanni Elliot thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process now. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
These are some of your most beautiful presets. I recently bought Minifreak V, and have been gathering presets, whilst wishing I could import MicroFreak presets into it. Perhaps I will just have to cave in, and buy one. After all, my birthday is coming in late March. Then I can drop by and invest in some of your great presets!
Thankyou! Just incase you missed it, I recently released MiniFreak presets, which also works with the plugin version. :) soundghost.net/product/minifreak-awake/
@@SoundGhost Oh, I didn't miss them. I am buying them this week, ready for a trip away next week for 10 days. The music goes with me. Thanks for all the great stuff you make for us! Andō.
Hi@@annother3350, I find it to be absolutely fine. Sure, a little higher than some other synths, but not causing any issues. I'm running it in Ableton Live 11 Suite on a 2020 MacBook Pro (Intel chip).
You had me on the first preset..just what I'm after. Purchasing now and checking out your other bank. Fair price too (I seen another guy charge 25 for 50 keys) and these are much much better and more versatile. Thanks, and subscribed. Gonna check if you do SH01 patches, if not, please do :)
I just bought this synth and need to learn how to download/make presets better... I bookmarked your page assuming I can get your noises into my machine. I might be wrong but I like it regardless. Thanks for sharing.
We include a guide in the pack download that runs you through how to install the presets, we also have a tutorial here: www.soundghost.net/blogs/tutorials/how-to-install-microfreak-presets
Very cool! Really taking advantage of the unique capacitive aftertouch. It's a shame the synth doesn't feature built-in effects like reverb. The reverb plugin you're using really brings out a lot in the synth. I find my microfreak sounds really flat without any effects. Arturia should have added it -- I can't imagine it would have cost too much more.
I am taking the dive on the MF and am curious about your reference to a reverb plugin- could you explain this aspect so as to replicate and extend some of these awesome presets? Thanks!
A plugin is software, so you need to run your synth through your computer to use a plugin for reverb. To do that you need a low latency audio interface as well. The alternative route would be to use a reverb pedal. They put the name of the plugin they used in the description.
Hey, bit of a new question. How can I have valhalla running with the microfreak at the same time? I know I can record into ableton but if I just want to jam how do I do that? Thanks.
put valhalla on an audio track & set the input to whatever input your microfreak is running into on your interface, then activate monitor record on the channel strip. you should then be able to hear microfreak + valhalla :)

“Blight “ sounds like straight up Boards of Canada

Great idea, you'll have endless fun
You can even use it as a vocoder now

ok ok ok. These presets make me buy this synth for Christmas. My partner doesn't thank you. But i do
Haha, sorry to your partner from me! have a Merry Christmas and enjoy the MF presets🎄❤️
Same same
This is definitely some serious fuel for GASsing up that gear acquisition syndrome. Such a great sounding synth.
Great job with the presets and utilizing the aftertouch and velocity functionality. Truly beautiful and Interesting textures in each of these.
I love this so much and it’s my favourite synth

How do you find the CPU use of the Minifreak?

@@aquietgarden Maybe it's time i upgraded my computer then. It just crumbles with the minifreak and the new korg VSTs
Thanks anyway
Great post, thank you.
I am definitely getting this! I would like to use it with my Launchkey Mini MK3! Cant wait!
great sounds
Sounds fantastic, congrats!
Beautiful
woah, 'blight' is some Tycho 'past is prologue' sound!

same thing with 'drift' heard first 3 and add to basket, lush :)

Très bureau travail avec un synthétiseur modeste (j’entends par rapport à un uno pro )
Love 💘 jamming with Microfreak...
❤❤💚💚💛💛✌✌✌
Definitely getting this one !!! What a hell of a work. Awesome 👏
This thing is amazing
Great sounds! The Micro Freak needs someone who knows how it works to get something great out of it. You obviously do!
Great sounds. How are you still finding the MF a year later? (almost!)
Thanks! I love it. Use it a lot still :)
@@SoundGhost Loving mine, especially the vocoder upgrade! I wonder if there will be a V4 upgrade :)
@@lightbeforesound2271 hopefully! I’d like to see some more oscillator shapes 🙏
@@SoundGhost Haha that would be great. There could be more oscillators than controls on it :)
i want it now
❤can I loop also some chords or notes ? Can I merge to drumbrute ? How ? I have also midi 88 keyboard, how is best configuration ? ❤ great video ❤

Do you like this or the minilouge xd more
How does one export patches? Is there something like a built-in export-via-USB to a file on the computer directly or with an editor?
You can upload and download patches with the Arturia Midi Control Center (and also update firmware and upload custom wavetables and other stuff)
I’m new to all this, how do I buy the patches please?
No worries! They're available here: soundghost.net/product/microfreak-motion/
Is it possible to install sounds on the MF that are not from Arturia? Like all my presets from Kontakt?
No that’s not possible. Presets are 99% of the time unique to the hardware/software.
question: how much (%) is the setting of the keysurface defined in the configuration please?
Yes
It is just Aftertouch but it is easier to play with these keys
What kind of reverb did you use ? It's beautiful
Valhalla SuperMassive :)
@@SoundGhost thanks so much
Too bad there is no reverb on the Microfreak I think.
There isn't. But I play mine through a Korg NTS-1 or my iPad (tons of reverb and delay apps) and it sounds incredible.
Nts-1 the powerhouse of a tiny synth that is also an effects processor
