The East group is my favorite. Both are fantastic, but the East group has a chemistry between Chris, Joel, Roddy, and Tony that is just incredible. They all clearly have so much fun onstage and are so much fun to watch. Extremely talented musicians. Plus Jeff on drums. Russell Allen on vocals who is IMO the best singer in TSO, he’s amazing with every song he sings. Plus Georgia, Kayla, Robin, Zak who are incredible. Bryan Hicks’ narration is the best! Love both groups, but the East group is my favorite and I always look forward to seeing them every year!
Absolutely phenomenal! Taking my family to see them tomorrow. I love how they integrate Christian themes into their show along with the story and theatrics! Been a few years since seeing them live but it never disappoints!
In my opinion East has the best lineup. 3 Savatage guys with Chris, Jeff and Zak along with the powerhouse vocals of Symphony X singer Russell Allen and Joel Hoekstra is awesome for a prog metal fan
Facts.. i really wish Russell sang more of the songs..lol.. i dont know if they rotate singers between shows but was disappointed when Russell didnt sing a couple tunes he used to
I saw them twice and I love their fantastic shows. The only thing I can complain is both concerts were not loud enough. Maybe because there were a lot of oldies with their grandchildren.
Absolutely! I saw them last year, and they topped it. Great laser and lights show, and the sound was top notch! Go see them if you have the opportunity. They played for two and a half hours. We left very satisfied!
I don't think he "shredded" much, and that's for the better... Joel Hoekstra did a good job, he could have played too many notes, or been very heavy, and he didn't do it (well, only a tiny bit near the end), preferring to give privilege to the melody and long sustained notes, and I think this was really clever. I only wish they'd use a softer and deeper piano sound instead of that metallic tone.
You can tell the East from the West by their M.C. The one in the East has blond hair and the one on the West has black hair. Also, the violinist on the West is female and the one on the East Coast is male
@@Smithj86 Your talking like a prissy little school girl, your to prideful to admit that Al plays it better. Just because you don't agree with something thats true, or acknowledge something that's true, doesn't make it less true.
Very beautifully played. Thank you Jesus,,,I love you with all my heart, mind, and strength!
That’s Joel Hoekstra…not Jesus

Enjoy the show! Let us know what you think about the live performance. For me, it was magical!
When Joel smiles and winks at 4:34 he is actually smiling directly at me for my video camera
Saw them yesterday in St Louis. Fantastic!
Awesome! I am glad you enjoyed the show. Happy Holidays!🎄🎸🎁🤟

You haven't seen West then....and this is coming from a guy who has seen every TSO concert for West Coast since the inception...
But the west group has Chloe Lowery…
@@markford4587 And she is the bomb..one of the main reasons to see the show

Great video. They said this is there biggest production in years..did it look like it is to you?

Well u figured cus of Covid they had a lot of time to make it bigger…💚
Where is Al Petrelli????
Al, Angus, and Johnny are all part of the other touring group.
@@palerider364 which one buddy??
@@pratikbhosle3792 Al Pitrelli is in the West Coast touring group. My videos are of the East Coast group with Chris Caffery and Joel Hoekstra.
West...the best
He is on the West group. This is the East group with Joel - my favorite of the two groups.

Is this East or West?
It is difficult to find information about that.

This will always be Al's song. Joel plays it too mechanical.

@@stephensdygert7600 no truth here. Just a pointless negative opinion that Al wouldn’t like either btw

“Too mechanical”?! What the hell is even that?!🤣
