I also own an IS. And it's REALLY SIMPLE to get rid of the "AFS Off" light just by removing the fuse underneath the driver side steering wheel. There's a fuse box there. Only take seconds to solve the problem. On the fuse guide, look for (H-LP LVL) and remove the fuse from it, I believe it's a 7.5A fuse. That should solve the problem.
I believe if you go into the fuse box inside the car under the driver side, fuse #17 should be for AFS feature. Just pull it out and it should stop blinking.
If I'm not mistaken, I thought I read on the Lexus forums that when upgrading to the newer headlights, you loose the sideways motion of the AFS motor and taking out the fuse for the AFS not only stops the light on the dash from flashing (which is great), but removing the fuse will also disable the vertical (up and down) leveling every time you start up the car :(
Lexus should fix this known problem for free but will not do anything. Then there is the transmission problem also that they have to know about but do nothing
I DO HAVE THE AFS LIGHT AND ITS ANNOYING , GREAT VIDEO IS THERE A FUSE , I HEARD SOME SAY THERE ARE NO FUSE FOR THE AFS LIGHT , IT WONT WORK THANKS BRO
Great detailed video! I was just wondering if you knew if the cluster lens is easily removable? Does it just pop out? I wanted to swap mine out. Thanks!
Because you lose auto leveling abilities if you pull the fuse. If you don’t care if they do or not it’s easier to pull the fuse. If you care take 30 minutes or less out of your time and do it this way.

Yeah i heard this was the best alternative. I plan to revisit this DIY and make another video. Thank you
Np, you're also being helpful on making these contents. I enjoy watching your channel. Thanks!
If you pull the fuse you will also lose auto leveling, which still works without afs. Just an fyi, covering the light is the best option imo.

Thanks for this video! This is gonna be a great help for when it becomes time to inevitably replace those LEDS/Needles for tach and speedo :)

2020 2021 Toyota lexus remove Message in cluster??
you know there is a fuse you can pull to turn the light off
where? and why not just pull the bulb? or is it an LED that's on the board?
I looked pass the idea of pulling a fuse and the LED is on a board.

You know the light 💡 is still blinking right
this not good way to delete AFS light
Wen Jiang you cannot delete it through computer. If you pull the fuse for it you lose your auto leveling function. This IS the only way
@@Justin-dy2ib what's the auto level function
Trill Will it levels your headlights so that the beam stays at the appropriate level. Also keeps you from blinding on coming traffic.
Might want to just take out the AFS fuse......Just saying.
just pull the afs fuse. save yourself the time
