Honest question and not to be rude or anything but does this happen overnight or is it multiple days for you? My house always looks the same and I just can't keep up with two little ones and we both have fulltime jobs so I'm trying to get tips from other momma's. Or just being reassured I'm not the only one. Great job, you sure do motivate me! I cleaned my sons room today while watching you and put out his new rug.
Honestly depends. Sometimes it will take 5min for Chris to get living room/his room into this stage. He will look for something and he would dump everything on the floor. I found him actually taking everything outside from boxes just so he can see what he has. Sometimes it will be a matter of one evening not tidying up. Kids wouldn’t go to sleep like planned or I was to tired to clean. I am not a person who is spending entire day walking and picking up it would be never ending thing and I wouldn’t do anything else other than clean. I am usually trying to pick up everything in the evenings but sometimes it’s not happening and then it will become 2 days mess because I won’t be able to clean during the day. Don’t worry you are not alone, there is plenty of us who struggle with this but as I always say and that’s what I do. My time spent with kids playing games, reading, dancing etc is more important than cleaning. I will eventually clean it. Right now summer break from mom and tots already started so I will have more time to get everything done but I am not bother by the toys. Kids will grow up soon and I will miss the toys in the living room. They will prefer spending time in their rooms or either friends instead of me so I’m taking as much as I can right now. I am glad it helped you with getting through something this is why I’m doing this ☺️
