uH aCtUaLLy the extra visuals at the edge is something you're not supposed to see because it would be covered by the sides of a crt monitor. an example is in blazing star where on the left side you can see the clouds disappearing piece by piece.
I like this one a lot because of it's more grounded tone compared to it's sequels. 2 and 3 have it's moments but they don't quite feel like 1. My PB in this is like around 10 credits, nice work.
Fun Fact: If you manage to rescue all the POWs & not lose a life, the credits would be replaced with a sort of music video. But i'm guessing that's only on the Japanese version. 😅
