@@12kidcat yeah I really wish that he hadn't killed Kimmy and maybe spared her life and then they could have been allies and she would have join him and his team to kick Fu's ass.
Funny enough, I didn't recognize her until they mentioned the school girl bit, and the name Kimmy started ringing bells and I was like "NO FUCKIN WAY!"
What a way to see each other again and talk through rap then transition to a fight. A bit sad what happens in the end, but Travis kept his word from the second game.
This game is so amazing I’m so glad I have a switch I literally just beat her and was like shorty from part 2 look like this wth happen it is sad tho but the rap was funny at the end then straight to fighting
I wish she, like Shinobu, was one of the ones he continued to spare and eventually joined forces with him. She and Travis could have had some nice chemistry
lol yes. Everyone was just scared shitless of him and were following him out of necessity to survive. Even if he wasn't genuine, Vanishing Point was the only one ballsy enough to tell Fu that.
I'm starting to see a pattern here. Every opponent that crossed swords with Travis and lived for some reason or another can all be accused of kill stealing, no matter if the kill steal happened before or after they clashed.
I like to think that Kimmy shaking her ass at Travis is both an incredibly sexy way to taunt him and also a subtle reference to her initial meeting with him during NMH2. When the two of them meet she turns around in embarrassment and gets a little shy. When she does, there's a moment where the camera pans down to her skirt while presumably in Travis's point of view, as if he's secretly checking her out. Likewise the camera pans down toward her butt for a split-second during her little mini-twerk (9:14). I feel like after Travis defeats Kimmy in her debut, she somehow picked up on Travis checking her out and decided to dress AND taunt that way specifically for him, as a way of using his attraction to her against him (in a sense) while also pushing their chemistry along. ...Damn, I really wish Kimmy didn't have to die. She and Travis could have been amazing as recurring rivals with chemistry or something more.
Having her twerk was definitely an intentional decision to display how she went from a shy girl to a confident woman who owns her sexuality and is proud of her beauty. But I disagree when it comes to her final fate. I think killing her does give an appropriate closure to her character because she was madly in love with Travis but he already had another woman in his heart, plus children with her. I will admit that I had a crush on Kimmy, but no way she wouldn't attempt to kill Sylvia or Travis's kids if she learned about them. So the best Travis could give to her, considering their situation, was a love confession and cementing their relationship as a platonic one through a mercy kill with sexual allusions. Sadly, Kimmy was far too gone and delusional for him to keep alive without being a danger to himself and his family, but he still recognized her as the woman of his dreams because part of him fell in love with her.
@@joselockhart435 it pains me but I agree. Personally I like kimmy too, she's fuckin hot lol I just wish something would have worked to keep her alive and interacting with Travis to where there was no real danger to him, Sylvia or anyone. Like she could be what Shinobu is to him but in the sense of being a sassy side character in a way
@@BL-9065 Agree. Kimmy was so hot that it hurts. And probably even Suda is aware of this, that's why he gave her a sexually suggestive death and didn't have Sylvia destroy her body, unlike with previous fallen foes.

17:23 Honestly glad that at least they spared us from seeing Sylvia's disposal team getting rid of Kimmy's corpse. I was getting nervous about what was going to happen to Kimmy's body around this part.
I hope there's a NMH spin off where Travis goes to Hell and has to fight the enemies we never actually fought in gameplay throughout the series. Like Dark Star, Helter Skelter, the 3 unnamed assassins Henry killed in NMH 2, Evil Travis (NMH1.5), Death Metal Jr, Death&Drive, and that black guy with the yellow beam katana who tried to kill Travis while on the toilet in NMH1.
To be fair, every NMH game (besides TSA) has done the "boss you were planning to fight dies so now you have to fight a DIFFERENT boss" trope. That being said, this was the one only time in this game where I'm glad we fought Kimmy instead. Not fighting Black Night Direction and Sniping Lee annoyed me (I didn't care for Native Dancer and I didn't need ANOTHER Destroyman fight), and I'm torn on Paradox Bandit since he did seem kinda bland and boring.
I didn't like Travis having to kill Kimmy personally. Though an interesting detail I noticed: In the time machine (boss run), Kimmy's kill sequence is always automatically skipped while in all other fights we're given the full kill cutscene every time. I wonder if playtesters didn't want to repeatedly see Kimmy killed.
@@bigman9341 I know but still u gotta admit it would have been awesome to have her be recurring and there definitely could have been a little chemistry.
