- This month, Strombo's Lit pick is Owen King's latest novel, 'The Curator.' The book is described as a ”Dickens novel meets Hieronymus Bosch painting”. It constructs a world than includes revolutionary upheaval, cats being revered as icons and a Morgue ship while at its emotional core are the ideas of loss and finding closure.
In the latest Strombo's Lit Live conversation, George Stroumboulopoulos spoke with Owen King about his new book 'The Curator' and the inspirations (consciously and subconsciously!) for it. He also had thoughts on the AI world takeover and offered advice to writers who have just started their own journey.
