a hack ? maybe for some... I have an iphone 7 and wired headphones that plug in to my lightning connector on the phone. pressing the volume button in camera mode does NOTHING except play music...even if music app is off - it doe not trip the shutter
Also what I do to get good photos of me and my dog, because it’s very hard to get a pic of an animal posing I hit record on a video instead then I sit still and just wait for my dog to final look the same way as me, then I go back through the video and screen shot the best frame?
So basically hit record on a video then screen shot the best frame from the video, I get all sorts of amazing pics with animals :) I got one of me reading a book on a big rock and I just waited a couple of minutes for my dog to climb up next to me and pose
