You are not doing anything wrong. A lot of the fireline or equivelent trailing material available today are a little limp and don't hold the where we like it. The tubing just holds it in place but also keeps it flexible. www.ashlandflyshop.com/products/jerry-frenchs-ultra-rig-kit?_pos=2&_sid=73ae4d544&_ss=r www.ashlandflyshop.com/products/aqua-flies-ultra-rig-tubing?_pos=1&_sid=6eea8d6ba&_ss=r
You know usually the tying video is a promotional tool without having to be a material pusher and waste 20 minutes blabbing about the materials. The video is from Ashland fly shop so we know you have the materials if we want to buy them.
Great job. Very helpful. Thank you!
What is the tubing for? I run stingers with fireline a lot on both rabbit and free floating, never using tubing. Am I fudging something up?
