I don't know, maybe it reacts differently when it reaches certain operating temperatures. I haven't run it since and this needs close observation to understand.
this is amazing! ive always wondered how it ran... its never really got to me, is it the oxygen expanding from the heat and then being released, or expanding to its cooling point, letting momentum bring back the piston, recompressing the oxygen, while the torch heats it, propelling the piston forward again? correct me if im wrong please!
@@Mah_guy Hi, it works by moving air from a hot to a cool part of the engine repeatedly, thereby producing a pressure change that moves the working pistons. The way Stirling engine works is explained here much better than I could do it: en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stirling_engine
