Charlie's explanation of digging a whole during the day and coming back out at night is the reverse strategy of what I did when I played Minecraft. When I didn't have enough lumber to build a house, I'd dig a whole and put a trap door in the ceiling to see when the sun came out so I knew I was safe. That's all they gotta do. Just stay out of the sunlight and they'll be fine!
I used to feel like this about all horror movies until I stopped thinking about how I would act. It’s like a roller coaster man just enjoy the ride for what it is. When I was younger I thought it was cool to resist the impulses on rides and be like “that wasn’t scary”, waiting for the camera to make a bored face or cross my arms in disappointment. But I realized I was just a stopping myself from having a good time. It was fun for what it was if you don’t think about it too hard. Literally anything can become unfun if you think about it too much
The only argument I could make, without ever seeing the movie, is that classic fairies of European mythos are subject to the laws of hospitality. They will make rules to force people to follow and they will follow rules given to them. The one who disobeys a rule of hospitality first dies.
The concept of “the watchers” is a really cool idea. One of the horror podcasts I listen to did a really good job of it and it’s kinda painful for them to take something that has so much potential and absolutely destroy it.

its based off a book
@youfieua then the author of the book then. Unless if it came out before 2015
Yeah because people don’t have similar ideas am I right.
@UTTPMajorOrange wtf is wrong with you you need to be on a watchlist
@@alexashman5183ignore the bots, they are trying to get attention
this a temu movie adaptation of undertale- the way Charlie described the spoilers XD
Charlie explaining the plot is more entertaining than just watching the movie.
The fairies thing makes more sense if you know Irish folklore (it sounds terrible to say) it’s set in Ireland, Galway a lot of folklore there
Ok tbf, the insane fairies and halfling/changeling shit is the creepy side of Irish folklore
Not charlie watched this while i was watching the watchers
If I got a quarter for every modern horror movie, I probably would have enough to get a meal at Five Guys.
You got smacked with 6 bots. They’ve all been reported
@@jaxonanderson7220 reported them as well. Don’t know why people would create bots like that.
@sm64istrashlol congratulations.
It's all the same person too. Makes me miss the first bots because at least they made sense.
this deadass sounds like undertale if it was ass and a movie
Literally anything can become unfun if you think about it too much
Charlie explaining how to survive your first couple of nights in a new minecraft survival world
say what u want about the story and everything, the monster reveal was actually cool

Which podcast?
@@mmmorgan2259 it’s called Run Fool
I swear to God the premise sounds like Undertale. Humans and faires get in a war because the humans fear their shapeshifting abilities and force them underground. Sounds a lot like the Undertale intro.
Don’t believe him go see it for yourself this was a fire movie
that fairy knew too much he had to clear it's hard drive.
literally the "the skin walker in my basement" meme
Its giving…. “Chat GPT write me a movie script”
Wait does Charlie not understand faerie lore? It's literal norse mythology...
Not norse, celtic.
That's what I was thinking the whole time. There such an untapped source of material for horror movie, but most people hear the word fairy and think of Tinkerbell apparently. I would love a Kelpie movie
@@dereklewis8914 This isn't a movie, but if you want to see a piece of media that's a modern take on fairies that's accurate to original folklore (aside from Guillermo Del Toro's films), check out the game Home Safety Hotline.

Charlie needs to watch When Evil Lurks, best horror of 2023
Good first third, then that movie becomes pure cringe. Evil children in a classroom? Lol
@@rodrigofarias673 in fairness, three cleaner lady said that evil loves children, and children love evil so made sense that they had little demon kids in the school 🤣 And something something allegory for ruining the future generation and them coming back for revenge something something
I saw this movie with my girlfriend, and I personally thought it was an okay movie until the climax when Dakota Fanning told the old woman that she was a halfling and then she flew away
The fairies just needed to apply first-night Minecraft rules where you dig a 2 block hole deep and stay there until daytime.
There are so many crappy movies with amazing trailers. When the trailer can’t even lie about how nothing it is you’re in trouble.
Every horror movie is legit boring. You are so right. That's why I only watch sci fi movies like Godzilla, King Kong, Planet of the Apes, and old school super hero movies
Ok you cant rate a movie if you just dont pay attention at all to anything thats happening...
So many dumb twists in this movie lol
The monster was the cringe inside us all along
If Charlie deems it dumb, you can bet things are about to get intense.
you know the movie is dumb when charlie starts hitting the confused emote
I always find it creepier in horror movies, when they give you just enough, they don't show the monster, and you know nothing about the monster because our imagination can make up some of the scariest things, but it's hard to portray that. just be ominous lol
