A tip, use a dryer softener sheet after it goes through the dryer, keep it in your pocket and use that to wipe your lenses.
Started wearing gasses when I was 13 (34 years ago. God, I'm old!) I started wearing contacts in my late 20s. They have their issues as well, but I prefer them over glasses, no rain or snow drops, no dust. I still wear my glasses at night and early mornings, and I'm always shocked at how dirty they get with such little use. Lol
We based out of Watertown for pheasant hunting for a couple years. Fun times.
When I got my glasses, I climbed into a Western Star dump truck the next morning and it felt like I was 20 feet off the ground! I ducked every time I went under an overpass cause it felt like I was going to hit them.
Got my first glasses in a "Mommy" moment. Only I had just turned 40, was shopping with my mother, and right by the registers she spots the reading glasses. For everyone's attention she says I absolutely must try on a pair despite my not ever having eyesight problems, because Mom got her first pair at the very same age, and basically we weren't going anywhere till I put those glasses on....by golly I could read a bit better! The delight on my dear mother's face was worth it. I miss her. And our road trips together. Thanks for providing us a daily outing, Josh.
Hi Josh . Every one today should take care of their eyes due to the ☀️ UV PROTECTION. I’m older now new lenses in my eyes . Because of cataracts and can see 20/20 but still wearing glasses for u v protection. & regular protection from dust bugs or working on things. Your young take of them.
Wal-Mart sells Zeiss Wipes for cleaning glasses. Been using them for years.

If you ever have the chance when you are at I80 next, make the effort to go to the truck museum over the back, i spent hours just browsing around in there, well wirth the time!!!!

Have a safe trip home. I have worn glasses since I was 14 months old. Cleaning them has been the bane of my existance. I probably clean mine at least 10 times a day if not more. I cant stand the slightest smudge on them. I wish i could wear contacts but cant. I tried but A) they couldnt make soft contacts for me when i tried them and B) hard contacts irritated my eyes so much I ended up with an eye imfection so bad I couldnt wear them anymore. You always include such beautiful scenery in your vlog. Its like riding right in the rig with you. Enjoy your time back home with Miss Brit and sweet little Theo. Give the fyr babies a nice long scratch behind the ears for me. Lol. I see you parked next to the great pumpkin. Many Wisconsinites call Schneider trucks that after the Peanuts Halloween cartoon. Lol.
Good point not to leave things like your tarps out where they could be a temptation to thieves.
There's around 900 spots at Iowa 80 or 450 if there's a lot of swift, werner and fexex drivers in the lot. Maybe less but I was being nice. I believe there's 3 semi's and one trailer inside. The place is HUGE. Barber shop, Dentist and a DOT physical doctor among 1 sit down restaurant and a handful of fast food places. Hand full of stores a,and a very large chrome shop. It's Disney world for drivers and they have no problem taking your money. Very cool place. I've done a few 34's there.
Yeah that was a top notch parking spot.
Next time you're at the Iowa 80, my favorite stop, take a video tour inside for those who may never have or will see it. It's hard to explain to people just how big it is. Yes you can go broke a few times over in there. Check out the museum. It's worth the time if you love trucks. Still want to see you and Kurt get together. Truck it safe brother 😎

Oh and Josh you'll have to check out that truck museum at Iowa 80. A buddy and I stopped by in March on the way to MATS. Worth every moment.
When I drove long haul back in 1994-96 Watertown was one of my favorite truck stops. Was smaller back then but the same awesome service and they made a killer strawberry rhubarb pie, this past September coming back from NASCAR in Kansas City we stopped there for breakfast and make sure you have an appetite!! Pancakes were the size of your blue steering wheel. LoL awesome place 😊

there are nine hundred truck parking spot in I 80 truck stop live about sixty miles from there been there several times for there trucker Jamboree a lot of nice older and newer trucks
If doctor Google is right, Iowa 80 as space for 900 trucks, the biggest in Europe, is here in England on the Kent County area, room for 650 trucks, considering that your American and Canadian trucks are longer, if the trucks were the same size as my Volvo, I would say Iowa 80 would take 200 more trucks? the opposite here in Europe, would make the Kent parking 650 go lower to 500 at the most.
Ive been to Iowa 80 truck stop twice. The Museum there is really good too. Last i heard they had 900 parking spaces for trucks.
I find that wearing a cap while wearing glasses help with rain.
Also I wanted to visit the Iowa 80 truck stop but my load assignment don't let me. But it does remind me of the Petro in Joplin MO on the I44.

Being a person who's worn glasses since childhood, I've always wondered one thing. Do you notice how often raindrops seem to go to the inside of the lens first? I mean, there is the whole outside, but they hit the inside.
Hi Canadian , Canada is beautiful without the snow and California is awesome with the sun, that place is awesome sleep well.
Been wearing glasses my entire life. 6 months of age I had glasses already. 480p to like 720p. If we're talking about it tv clarity lol
soap and water ( bar of soap ) or dish soap clean glasses good enough for a few hours if you touch your face too much

I've been wearing glasses my whole life. I always take a baseball cap with me because the bill (or brim) will do a pretty good job at keeping the lenses dry. OOPS spoke too soon @ 7:37 you show you DO have a cap with you too. Wear it in the rain.

I use VisABull on my glasses… got to admit you have to be pretty quick on the trigger but it works great.

Josh re your glasses and keeping them clean. I clean mine with (wait for it) shaving foam like Gillette or Nivea. The foam stuff. just a couple of daps either side the lens front and back swirl around with your finger and rinse the foam away with water. dry with soft tissue. It will amaze you how it cleans the glasses. Let me know how you go. Happy days, Keep on Truckin.

Buy a cheap ultrasonic cleaner and you'll be suprised how clean yre glasses get. I wear more than 44 years ....glasses. I do know the struggle to keep the damn thing clean...more than i ever could imagine. After they advices me to use a ultrasonic cleaner, the problem been solved. 😊
I believe that there are more than 900 parking spots there, Josh. I've been by there many times. I want to stay there sometime, but it never seems to work out with my runs.

I've been wearing glasses since 1st grade ... kindergarten teacher thought I was slow, first grade teacher suggested a real eye exam. 2nd grade I caught up with everyone else.
