If you can't laugh, you just need to "teach yourself" to laugh again. I spent ages without laughing then I made a conscious effort to laugh out loud at stuff that was funny, funny stuff got funnier and I got happier, it was a weird but effective process! It's almost the opposite way of how we can develop depression.
@@lummyjummy4202 HAHAHAHAHAHAHA why so serious! In all fairness, self administered CBT works, it's a great way of helping yourself get over emotional hurdles. Or at least it works for me hahahaha!
"Laughter is caused by the slackening or relaxation of the nerves. It is an ideal condition and not physical. Laughter is the visible effect of an invisible cause. For example, happiness and misery are super-sensuous phenomena. One cannot hear them with the ears or touch them with his hands. Happiness is a spiritual state." - Abdu’l-Baha, Baha'i Faith
A YMCA gal! I'm a wellness coach + RYT. My dad just requested that I lead a 'laughter yoga' class for my whole extended family after Thanksgiving next week. Doing my research now, big gratitude to you Liliana!
I Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!! Today I conducted kind of laughter yoga session in my school, your videos proved a grate help for me. The session was awesome. 🙏🌈🍫💐
I was taught about laughter yoga in treatment for a substance use disorder and thought it was a total crock. Cut to me, 3 years later, now a licensed addiction counselor, teaching it to my clients! Laughing is SO GOOD for our brains and bodies, doesn't require anything, can be done anywhere at any time - I start everyday with a short meditation, followed by intentional, silly, ridiculous laughing, and i SWEAR by it! My work is very stressful and difficult - but laughing helps immensely. 😂😅❤
For the people commenting negatively, I guess you'd rather take a pill that you will be dependent on for the rest of your life which just might give you dementia, obesity, high blood pressure or other mental problems that you never asked for.
I naturally laugh at all kinds of things, and I genuinely laughed when doing the exercise. I just have an obnoxiously loud and hearty laugh, it may turn a lot of people off😂
People laughing and not taking things seriously are a blessing in this bleak society which teaches seriousness and death inside as some form of accomplishment. May you have the wisdom to see that.
I have to be honest, I cringed so much watching this. That said, I simply don't understand it and it's clear the comments section all do. Power to you all.
I realize this comment was posted a year ago but I wanted to follow up for those who feel the same (like myself). I heard once that if you’re cringing at something it’s not that what they’re doing is “cringe,” it’s that you just care too much what people think about you to allow yourself to do what they’re doing. That helped me a lot! Sending hugs.
Laughter Yoga is most finest medicine for depression & dementia..
God bless everyone 🙏❤
I love laughter yoga, do it every day and it saved my marriage, my family and me during the shutdown

you got drunk to laugh … remember
Kinghanaan thats what you inferred, bc he got drunk and laughed doesnt meant he got drunk to laugh
"naturally" :P
Marijuana can also help with that.
Dr. Madan Kataria should see this.
Getting sick and tired of this phrase “safe space”
Just eat about a whole bag of edibles and you won't stop laughing for the next 6 hours

Notice the *Women* in the title.
Sometimes they like to discriminate based on gender in these types of things.
@@WhatIsItToBurn not discrimination, its a safe space for women. as there are also, safe places for men.

Devised by an Indian doctor. And a lot of research that proves the health benefits.
Yup, Madan Kataria. Coincidentally, we share the same surname.
I was just doing it and I sounded so damn creepy like even the demon in my dresser was scared.
Who is the Indian doctor claiming he originated this in the 90's
I remember these exercises from the early 70's.
Thank you so much for crediting Madan Kataria! Maybe his name says MAD because of all the plagiarism he suffers online , right?
Superb
So and of course everybody in that crowd redid this afterwards....
