Yes, a continual work in progress, I would think, and why not. I have some ride videos and more recent footage of this machine, but it has not been here in the last few years.

Great sound from it, I'm wondering what it's like after these years and is it still around?

It has been featured in more recent videos while visiting here and has been altered a little over the years. Still going strong!

your bike is amazing and I made mine into a bobber as well... It will be great if you can guide me to fix the oil leak and increase the engine capacity and also if you can suggest a better carburetor for performance upgrade... Thank you!!!

For help with an oil leak, it is probably best to ask on one of the R.E. forums. I would choose an Amal MK II carburettor to help boost performance.

Sorry, but I don't know. I just built the engine and rear wheel and a few other bits for the owner.

Apparently they were made bespoke for the owner, to his specs and in stainless at a cost of over £300.

Once heard someone say that boring out an RE 350 cylinder just gets you a pile of very large washers ...

Yes, I can never enjoy riding it when it is here for working on, as the footrests are way too low and wide - you don't even need to use the propstand - just get off !! Combined with the many corners we have, as well as the odd speed ramps, you have to be on full alert all the time just to stay upright !
