Every time I watch one of your videos. I'm always impressed / jealous of your Christopher Reeve Superman figure. It's just amazing. Keep up the good work brother
"Whats happening my fellow geeks and geekettes" with subtitles turns into, "one saddened by fellow gates and gay kids" youtube has a strange sense of humor.
Did that with a 12 inch Stormtrooper i got from a dollar store, as a first timer I just did a acrylic wash and some blaster burns. Lot of fun and love it even though its a bit cheesy.
Awesome video. If you ever revisit the project, it might be super cool to replace the exposed middle of him with real wires and dangling in there. Just a suggestion, loved it!
hey chris just wanted to say i love your work and i already custom ized my c3po only i made him with 2 gold arms because i wasnt really a fan of ep 7 but also you shoul have a whole diarama of all the starwars figs u have
I feel like you need to get your hands on another threepio and customize it to match the steampunk r2's pocket watch threepio. It would be cool to see that idea expanded, but its your choice.
People always the same saying first seriously people just cause your first too see the video dont rub it in sheesh we are here for the man Chris you keep up the hard work man always glad to see new content from you
I could just hear him complaining the whole time you were working on him. "Oh dear! Be careful what you are doing. Wait, what are you doing with that rotary tool!?! No! Not my eyes!
I had a great idea. Chris should get a 10" Elite Death Trooper figure from the Disney Store and give it some weathering and a better paintjob, than make a Scarif stand for it with sand and fake water
Chris you are my favourite UA-camr and you have inspired me to start doing things that you do on the channel. Please can you do a custom collect able of star Lords nerd blaster.
I have a theory why no one can ever recognize C-3P0. He was originally red but no one recognizes him because of the gold body. (This is a joke, I know the real origin of his red arm)
Wow pretty amazing nice job dude. Your bids have inspired me to have a go at this type of thing. (Starting with a 6" black series stormtrooper). I got some clear coat gloss/matt and some enamel paints.Do I need to apply the clearcoat before I start trying to weather my figure?. Do you apply clearcoat after you are done or between washes?. Do I apply a final coat of clearcoat when finished?. Did I make a mistake buying umbrol enamel paints for weathering?. Any help guidance on this would be hugely appreciated I have never tried customising a figure or anything else before. Thanks guys..
Is that C-3PO? Wow, I didn't recognize him because the unpainted toy looked so bad. Where you expecting the red arm joke? Please. But seriously, amazing work Chris. Your vids always get me pumped to do a custom paintjob!
Amazing work as always! I'm not sure if you have read the Darth Vader or Doctor Aphra comic series, but if you get a another one of these C-3PO's, it be awesome if you customized it to look like 0-0-0 (Triple Zero)!
I’ve just picked up the C3PO big fig as your before pic looks like the 18inc one but as watched and it was in your hands, it looked way bigger then the before pic in the box. What size it this one you have?
Hey Chris, Im giving this a go but cant get the head apart for the life of me, its glued solid and I dont want to damage it with a small saw etc. How did you do it mate?
This turned out really good! If you wanted to go even further you should have chopped out the torso section and rebuild it with some real wires instead of the molded ones.
You could kick this up to a whole other level if you started filling those screw holes. Bondo, Tamiya putty, or even "Green Stuff' (blue/yellow epoxy putty). Sand and then prime the whole thing at once. Reference some model making videos for reference. Super simple and you could really elevate these even further. But again, nice job on this.
I like to think that Jakks Pacific keeps making these figures for Chris to customize them.
Theoose lmao!!!!
"It took me forever to find him"
You probably didn't recognize him because of the red arm
well played
Impressive. Most impressive.
I see you’ve built your own red arm joke
Yessssss!!!! Finally! I've been refreshing my UA-cam feed ever since I saw 3PO on your Instagram story!!!
Every time I watch one of your videos. I'm always impressed / jealous of your Christopher Reeve Superman figure. It's just amazing. Keep up the good work brother
I love it when you do the custom collectable videos, your skills are amazing and I get so much inspiration from them. Another stellar job mate.
No dirt from your driveway? Who are you and what have you done with Chris??
The Costume Kid and no shoe polish
Unsubbed...
This is patriarchy! (lol jk)
The Costume Kid
Ha ha lol
i was thinking the same thing
From how you weathered him and how the light shines in his eye, it made him look like a steampunk robot. Looks great!
Its fascinating how a simple paint job can absolutely transform something like this
You should do a steampunk C3 just so that you can match with R2. That's only if you can get another one
he sold r2
Ethan I know he did, I'm saying that as a video idea it's a good match
Alex Good c3po already look like a steampunk robot
needs black dots in the eyes, other than that looks beautiful as always
"Whats happening my fellow geeks and geekettes" with subtitles turns into, "one saddened by fellow gates and gay kids" youtube has a strange sense of humor.
Stupid Ninja holy hell
Kinda sounds like an Edgar Allan Poe poem
LMBO LOLOLOLOL

Your content is easily the most interesting thing that youtube has to offer for me! Good work, truly marvelous (has always)
I love watching these; always a fun time!
you should do a series where you get super cheep toys like $1 store or something like that, toys and pimp them out
Monkeybrain46 underrated comment

Agreed
Thanks for saying it was 3P0 in the title. I almost didn’t recognise him because of the red arm.
At first I was like , aww C-3PO. but now I'm like , I really want that damn C-3PO. freaking amazing Chris.
Another excellent custom Chris! Great job!
This is probably my favorite so far. You did an amazing job Chris
Another awesome job!!! Great idea with the wiring. THANKS.
Awesome video. If you ever revisit the project, it might be super cool to replace the exposed middle of him with real wires and dangling in there. Just a suggestion, loved it!
You're awesome Chris. Keep up the good work brother and sending good vibes from Cleveland, Ohio ✌🏻
Chris you have skills, man. I wish I had a mind for this stuff. What an upgrade! Good stuff indeed...
hey chris just wanted to say i love your work and i already custom ized my c3po only i made him with 2 gold arms because i wasnt really a fan of ep 7
but also you shoul have a whole diarama of all the starwars figs u have
You did it again Chris! Awesome work here! This is definitely top three with Batfleck and the Tie Fighter. So glad I subscribed.
That is amazing. It looks like you actually replaced the plastic with metal! Great job!
One of my fav customs to date. Really liking the base.
I just realized that if chris ever has kids, they'll have the BEST toys. Lucky...
Liam Curran yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Danm lucky kids
came out beautiful. While i like your customs where you use the clear primer and weather i am very happy to see you do a full repaint. awesome job
I feel like you need to get your hands on another threepio and customize it to match the steampunk r2's pocket watch threepio. It would be cool to see that idea expanded, but its your choice.
fantastic work mate.. always enjoy those custom collectibles
People always the same saying first seriously people just cause your first too see the video dont rub it in sheesh we are here for the man Chris you keep up the hard work man always glad to see new content from you
That looks awesome! I never thought of doing something like this, but now I want too. Great job!
This figures a lot bigger than I was first thinking, great finishing product...and voice
Chris, another great job mate as per usual. Love your videos, keep on rocking!
I could just hear him complaining the whole time you were working on him. "Oh dear! Be careful what you are doing. Wait, what are you doing with that rotary tool!?! No! Not my eyes!
Truck Shackley LOL😄
Heck yeah, Chris back at it again
Awesome custom Chris and another great video :)
It looks fantastic!
Love it! Beautiful work one again Chris!
Nice one mate. Loved the shot of the primer drying on the hills hoist with some jocks in the background :P
wow is huge, big scale figure indeed. Great Job Chris, congratulations! :)
great job as always Chris. If you can get your hands on another one, how about painting out the red arm and adding a restraining bolt?
That is awesome work, always impressed.
Good job mate. I did a C-3PO awhile back and had a lot of fun with him. Also bored out the arm areas.
another great makeover by my man Chris
May 27th i turned 23 and got a dremel. Freaking love the tool!
My son has a 3 foot tall optimus prime. You have motivated me to customize it!
Please can you do a custom collect able of star Lords nerd blaster.
amazing. My one suggestion would be to fill in the screw holes with something like resin
This is definitely one of my favorites!
AYEE NEW MUSIC I LOVE IT!! AMAZING JOB WITH C3PO
I have a theory why no one can ever recognize C-3P0.
He was originally red but no one recognizes him because of the gold body.
(This is a joke, I know the real origin of his red arm)
I really look forward to these custom vids
Amazing job! Without the pupils, he looks like C-3PO of the Corn.
You forgot the pupils
No he didn't
Kyle Lusk then why are there no pupils?
Because school is out.
K, I'll leave then.
And the silver leg
Should have taped over and left the original paint job on the wires and made some pupils but otherwise great job
The right leg should be silver
Looks nice as always, but you could weather the wires on the waist/belly area as well!
Dude! You are ripped! Love your channel!
The stand reminds me of the vehicles on Tatooine. Like Jabba's Sail Barge/Palace or the Jawa's Sand Crawler.
Who else thought of the red arm joke when you saw the thumbnail?
Wow pretty amazing nice job dude. Your bids have inspired me to have a go at this type of thing. (Starting with a 6" black series stormtrooper). Vids ( not bids).
awesome work once again chris
Any ideas on how to light up the eyes if you don’t have a 3d printer? Model looks incredible, great video super painting techniques.
Can you do a video on the homemade spiderman mask from spiderman homecoming? I wanna see you do that or something from the movie
Is that C-3PO? Wow, I didn't recognize him because the unpainted toy looked so bad.
Where you expecting the red arm joke? Please.
But seriously, amazing work Chris. Your vids always get me pumped to do a custom paintjob!
wow Chris that looks awesome
Hey love your work all your Custom collectables are amazing! Was looking at doing a similar build and was wondering where you get your paints from
I think you should have used a chrome gold and chrome red... then done all the weathering.
Amazing work as always! I'm not sure if you have read the Darth Vader or Doctor Aphra comic series, but if you get a another one of these C-3PO's, it be awesome if you customized it to look like 0-0-0 (Triple Zero)!
Great work, very inspiring 👍
That's a damn fine job you did!!!
Always love your work
Whoa....amazing Chris ! Send ILM a photo lol.
Mind has been blown
I love how you go the lights to light up 😂😂😂😂😂
incredible work as always !
hey chris have you ever thought of using rustoleum 2x ultra cover metalic gold .
Do boba fett next!!!!
How about drilling out the holes in the base and putting a light to give you that ambient ship light affect underneath C-3PO's feet?
Love the backdrop! Just subscribed!
seen parts on Instagram looks awesome! great work!
Loving these Star Wars props! Makes my soon to be Cold Gun look like crap.
That so awesome
Looks a lot better then what 3PO looked like in The Force Awakens
I like the customs. Keep up the good work bro
Simply the best!
Best one yet
damn chris these are just too cool!
Looks amazing!
Amazing as always!
awesome job as always!
