One thing Pia has maintained until today is her relatability and authenticity. She draws you in no matter what topic she’s speaking about. Truly mesmerizing. My favorite miss U candidate. I mean what a gem.

Catriona Grey is more for the masses. Because she sounds like a travel vlogger making videos for Filipinos who love Pinoy Baiting. Pia is being humble, but she is maintaining enough class to appeal to various markets.
Eduardo Viajero I appreciate your thoughts about Catriona and indeed she is also “pang masa” but I am not making comparisons for both of them. I like them both as they gave pride to our country, the Philippines being the 3rd and the 4th Miss Universe title holders. I just replied to this video for obvious reason, Pia W is the center of their discussion. 😘

Ang sarap panoodin ni Pia sa isang interview. Napakatotoong tao at makikita mo na may “connect” siya talaga sa interviewers. She didn’t give “pageant answers” but instead spoke truth, wit, and sincerity. Thank you, Pia!
She became Miss Universe because of her honest answers from the heart. And I really love the fact that she answered the final question at Miss U in pure Filipino accent, yet it was so straightforward and sincere. I'm blessed to have witnessed 2 Filipina beauties win the coveted crown.
One thing what did Miss Pia did registered in Miss U was the twist turned from clever serious face and smile, then flip back to serious face again... That was insanely beautiful, unique and mismerizing moment. J think she indeed proved her presence to every judges that someone here at the stage will kill the game and this girl won't give up from start to finish - she truly delivered what she planned since 3rd time joining Bb. Pilipinas. Pia is the person crafting works from scratch and you'll except it the finish products will stoned and jaw-dropping.

What I really like about Pia and her success story is bukod sa pinaghirapan talaga nya, she's very spontaneous, genuine and smart. Hindi calculated, contrived and pinagplanuhan lahat ng bagay. Alam mong totoo and pusuan talaga ang labanan.

Personally, Ara > Janine for me kahit sa evening gown. Iba yung tamad-tamaran pose and the infamous 6-inch heels. Super bet ko yung awra nya that night, talagang di nagpakabog. Kay janine naman, janine >>>>> olivia. Kung img na ang may ari ng MU that time, janine ang nanalo that’s for sure. Sobrang obvious na ‘robbed’ si janine, overall performance including Q&A sa kanya talaga.
