Loved both churches and all the history. The new church is beautiful. As always, a great day for a walk. You two had the walk to yourself, what a beautiful walk Thank you both.
Dave this was a beautiful walk all the way around. Gorgeous lake and scenery. The churches are always so interesting and simply beautiful and I would love to see them in person one day.England has the most amazing churches . Thank you and Logan for showing us such wonderful places that we might not get to see otherwise. 👏🏻
That's one fantastic statue Dave, nothing like that on my local patch! You were blessed with lovely weather yet again, you know what they say about the righteous. And still no pint and crisps to finish, Logan'll be downing tools if you're not careful!
Thank you, that was a lovely walk Dave, quite magical in parts. I was interested in the bit about the Midland Bank as I too used to work there for several years in the 60's and 70's.
Great weather for walking. Those days seem a long way off now. Loved both the churches. I thought at first, the older one was a cottage, but what I thought was a chimney, turned out be the bell tower.
Stunningly beautiful - that lake and the last sunken path were gorgeous. Personally I don't like golf courses very much - they are the Stepford wives vibe of the countryside like some weird pastiche of natural scenery. Still Logan could chase golf balls instead of squirrels!
My mum played a part in the film as she lived in Petersfield. Were there cattle on Chapel Common. Looks like a lovely walk, might have to do it with my daughter some time.
I believe I did, in this vlog you mentioned that you worked at Midland/HSBC. I am not sure exactly when, can you remember the names of anyone else who worked with you in Petersfield.
@@dianadimmock5758 Frances Butler, Gail Harvey, Karen Lance, Ian Hine .... there was quite a gang of us around the same age. Good times ... sadly a long time ago now!
Yes a very long time ago. The HSBC in Petersfield is now closed😩which I found quite sad. does the names Pete Duffield ring a bell? I remember him being a laugh.
Good evening Dave yet another fantastic video so very enjoyable interesting history plus you had excellent weather looking forward to the next one.
Thank you Craig. Looking forward to some warmer weather already!
Stunning countryside walk with amazing beauty
Many thanks Keith.

Thanks Lavinia. It really was quite peaceful around there.
Another great walk, Dave. Many thanks!
Thank you Jim. :)
A lovely walk which I'm fortunate to be able to do often as it is close by for me. Thanks for all your walks - I do enjoy them very much.
Thanks Susan. What a lovely area to have close by for walking for you. Thank you for watching.

Yes, i think that Logan felt a bit "short changed" on that one!

Thanks Angela. Sadly, the Banking industry isn't quite what it used to be!

Hopefully some warmer weather is not too far away!

Yes, I was quite taken by that lake - it looked amazing in the sunshine.

Great that you have a family connection there Diana. Did you work with me many years ago in Petersfield?

Hi, what distance is this walk please? Looks fairly level and unchallenging
Hi Jan. It is about 5 miles - ish. Pretty much all on the flat and, from memory, not too muddy.
Where did you park your car at langley Court please Dave, on the road or is there a car park. Might try this walk tomorrow.
There was a small parking area, off the road, near the entrance to Langley Court & the Common. Alternatively there is parking at Tuxlith Chapel.
Very kind, thank you
