Great deck list, I've been an armor Stan since BT-8 and Chris nailed the explanation.
Magnamon is my favourite deck to play this format, feels pretty strong but it's still a very fair deck. For now. I'm gonna try Fire Rocket for my next build. I run Kimeramon in my deck to make use of Veemon inherit a bit more, and sometimes get a last swing for game in. Magna struggles against wide boards a bit so he helps with that too.

I’ve been playing armor since bt14. Personally, I don’t agree with Shuu. She just seems unnecessary. I never really liked armor texture since you have to evo for the full cost. But I do run 4 heavens judgement. That card is insane! My locals has gracenova and levia running around so I’m thinking about either running fire rocket to speed up my aggression or that 9 cost option to bottom deck threats without having to commit anything to the board. Lui is a really good card in the deck as well.
When you say starter deck veemon. Its st9 veemon im guessing?
At 6:51 he puts gx on a level 4 magna
I'm pretty sure thats not allowed idk if he just meant the level 6 or not but it for sure can't go on the level 4
He was demonstrating GX's effect to put the BT8 Magnamon under it as a source from trash after evolving on a Magnamon X.

How are you evolving the merciful mode I thought you need a digimon with Omnimon it’s name to evolve it ?

How does this list actually win games? Gx isn't a reliable win condition since you bottom deck it so often. You can't rookie spam effectively without 4 Davis and 4 ukko. On paper, this list doesn't look like it leans into any of the aspects that make magna actually succeed.
