My suggestion for people in the dating world in general would be to make a rule or goal for yourself not to date people who are co-workers in a company you are working for. This can have very bad consequences in the relationship.

'Online dating expert'...who says you're an 'expert', what's the qualification ?
I created a match account the day after Thanksgiving.. I got the premium membership. Messaged several people and got nothing. You have to pay so they can respond to you and vice versa for extra money. Yes It is a scam. Today I canceled my account and deleted my profile. They better not charge me any later than the expiration date. I will also be contacting my credit Card company about the matter. There should be a class action lawsuit Against this company and be put out of business. Let's all pull together. Down with Match!!

I've noticed a lot of people on there put an old picture for their profile then you scroll through and the Aged twenty-five years at least I put my own picture on there
21 million subscribers and only 100s successes each month. after one year, even at 500 monthly reported successes at 12 months = 6000 total. that isnt a lot to the rest. Success rate = less than 1% (as in 0.6%)

The main problem with dating apps as a man is the lack of women on them. There are so many more men on dating apps the odds of actually even meeting a woman that meets basic standards is remote at best.

It's all about size. If you are 5"2" you will get no responses, even if you are super good looking. I think all women are very hesitant to get involved with a small person especially on a dating app. The shorter you are the worse it gets.

99% of women are not serious. Most like being alone. This is like putting your resume on a job site and taking a chance you'll get a call. I met one woman who goes to my Church on Match. Guess what? Not serious. She only wants to date much younger men whatever that means. Another way to be not serious. And she was no 10 by any means. I just saw one woman who writes on her profile that she's bad at picking out who to date. One of her requirements is the guy has to be 5'10" or taller. She's 5'5". I can see not wanting to date past a certain age or a different faith but wanting someone taller than 5'10" reduces the pool to nearly zero.
If I’m 5’5” and meet a man who’s 5’8”, my heels are at least couple inches - he always tell me that I’m taller than 5’5’’. Men don’t feel comfortable with a woman taller than they are. Here is why requirement of 5’10”: at least my date won’t feel uncomfortable.
As of 99% of women are not serious: we are looking for a companion, confidant, maybe boyfriend and it takes a lot of time to understand who is right for me. Usually I feel right away that something is off but still needs few dates to make sure.
After all, most women already are ok with their life and not in hurry to be with someone they barely know.

I've had a few partners about 8 inches taller than me. And I didn't feel insecure.. Though one partner admitted at the end of the relationship that although the connection was strong, she was uncomfortable about our height difference.
There's no way to verify if people are real or fake. That's why never pay for it. They are trying to scam if they can't confirm people are real or not.

No thanks. For one thing, at today's exchange rates on the US buck, I'd be paying an extra 35-40% on my Canadian cash to join. Discouraging. Then, on a couple of freebie conversations I was allowed, my choices were already in successful relationships but just hadn't removed their profiles as yet, according to what I was told. But they wished me well and good luck. Not good enough. Then Match played on my emotions by telling me that I had two ladies who sent me messages and one who sent me a like. Their photos and messages were blurred and I'd have to take a paid subscription to find out who they are. But if I did that, as I've read in a couple of reviews, then their profiles disappear and you never hear another word from them. And of course, there's no exchanges or refunds.

Match just seems dead. I’m currently a premium user on there, and the people that I like are not even active. I try messaging some people, but I get absolutely no reply’s. It also seems like nobody is really interested or curious, no profile visits or likes. Same goes for eharmony. I’ve never tried bumble or hinge. Also it seems that most of the people are from others states. Long distance relationships are NOT something I’m into.
Only long distance people who work with them that hhhh because near you they are nothing you must explore the world 🌎

Everyone with a choice will pick the most attractive people. Match know this and their algorithms are like Tinder, designed to keep feeding the best profiles to the women. They know that most men have a bad time, but they can scalp the men for money by offering things that appear to improve their chances.

If you signup but decide not to pay you get endless emails of "great deals" over and over till you have to block the address. then the fake profiles that come with these sites..
Crap. At least for men. Send out 100 emails, you might get 2 to 4 replies. Max. Maybe none. The excuse most women give for not replying "I get 100 to 400 emails from Match a day, I can't go through all of them." Because of this, ladies have their pick and can clamp the filters down hard. I am 5'7". If I say I'm 5'7" I get about 20 matches in my search. If I say I'm 6'0" I get almost 10 times that. The average height of the women in these two set is the same. I've changed my date of birth, no effect. I've changed my educational level, no effect. It one and only one thing, short man syndrome. I'm just saying that as a guy you are so disadvantaged on a site like this unless you are in the top 10% of desirable men (who are not on Match or any other dating site) that it isn't worth the money. Save your money. Build your social network, and let the wife or the girlfriends of your guy friends do the screening for you. That doesn't always work either but it's better than putting a lot of hope in dating services. The other option is to go with the PROs.
