A lot of people loss their opportunity to serve, praise, and bring glory to God in song with the institution of the praise team and elimination of the choir. The church choir was many peoples form of ministry.

Because the focus was not on themselves and as you see there is a Director controlling their every note and move.This is corporate worship and ministry with the focus on just what the song is saying.”Take some time to glorify the Lord!” As opposed to some (not all) the so-called “Praise and Worship teams” that draw attention to themselves dressing like they literally just came from Club Shiznit to church and while the lead is yelling over and over about what God is doing for them and what He can do for you, there’s no TRUE ushering in of the Holy Spirit.
I have to agree with you; the focus is on the lyrics and not the attire. I stay warm so I loved when we moved to all black and would “uniformly “ have accessories we would switch up with.

I love this song! One of my most awesome worship experiences included this song. I lead a combined choir of my (white) church and our sister (African American) church. We had about 50 black and white choir members who rocked it out. It was a unified worship experience I will never forget. He Keeps Blessin Me!!!! We didn't move as good as this choir, but we sounded pretty close. This video was great. thanks for sharing.
