Not sure if anyone mentioned this yet but Salient Arms doesn’t make any of the parts in these guns. They’re a salient design, but Canik produces all of the parts themselves.

@@cryptosmillennial5472 The problem is that every Salient designed piece has the Salient logo on them and it is never mentioned ANYWHERE that Canik is the company producing them. For anyone that doesn’t take the time or have the time to dig for this information, they would never know for sure.
@@dawsonweber99 yeah agreed, but the cost to make and supply in house is economically in the best interest for the consumer with the endorsement. Seems to be reliable enough from what I can tell but I don’t own it so 🤷♂️ is love to see a torture test on them
@@Precocktrigger By far the most popular caliber is the 9mm, with 45 auto coming in second. The other calibers are not very popular, have a limited demand, and the ammunition of the 10mm, 40 S&W, 357 Sig, and others is more expensive. Maybe Canik eventually will make a pistol in 45 caliber, but as it is, Canik is meeting the high demand for 9mm pistols.

I don’t see how salient could handle the macro demand. The permission and use of the name is the same thing when it comes to proprietary information.

I own the Elite Combat in black and that trigger is one of the best out of the box.

The Canik TP9 series are excellent modern combat handguns. They are taking a bite out of the Glock market.
For them to do that. They need to make different cal, Glock makes 9,10,45,380,22,40.. I have 5caniks like them better than glocks

My carry gun now it's amazing got it with the vortex viper ridiculous.
I like the vortex but it doesn't have motac technology I stick with romeos

Bought the sub compact stuck a vortex venom red dot it's amazing.
Canik stopped giving all 4 plates on this gun. All 4 still come with the Tp9sfx.
Don’t know how true that is I just bought my tp9 E.C and I got all 4 plates and the 1/2 x 28 pitch thread for my barrel

The gold barrel looks like s***They got the colors perfect on the canik TP9 elite combat.
I’d say it’s more like a glock 17 then 19 it had a 4.7 in barrel and hight of like 6 inch
