  • [Intermediate] How to fold a Swiveling Skewb Cube from 14 squares of paper no glue or tape. For this modular model, I recommend using 3-inch paper because that will make a model similar to the size of a Rubik's Cube. For a 2-color effect use 8 squares of one color for the corner modules and 6 squares of another color for the faces. Since standard origami paper (kami) comes in 6-inch (15cm) sheets, you can simply use 4 standard sheets of kami and divide each of them into 4 squares for a total of sixteen 3-inch squares. Discard two.
As I mentioned in the video, I also designed an exclusive member's-only 6-Color Skewb Cube that results in a jumbled Skewb Cube that magically solves itself with just one twist! To become a member, click / @jeremyshaferorigami . And for members, here's the link to the 6-Color Skewb Cube: • Origami 6-Color Skewb ... .

Join the Skewb Club: ua-cam.com/channels/2OQxWDDE71D6AKrNa7XygQ.htmljoin I got over 100 requests/thumbs up for the 2-color Skewb cube, so I busted my glut, and made it! And then I went beyond the call of duty and designed the 6-color magic one which is part of my JeremyShafer Origami Party! (admission $4.99). So if you enjoy my content and want to support my channel and enjoy bonus content, membership is the best way. The 6-color Magic Skewb Cube tutorial is up and visible to members.

I know it's hard for most of you to join as members, so here's some tips for how to make the 6-color Magic Skewb Cube. You need to figure out how to make the corner modules out of 3 sheets of paper instead of one. They are all the same size. If you can't figure out how to get them to stay using origami locks (as I did), you can just use tape. Or better yet... just fold the model that I taught here out of white paper and color each side of the finished cube!

Is using uncut paper too big to manage? Also, a skewb case would be cool. Obviously it would need to be a tight fit so you might need to calculate the ratio (skewb original paper side length : case original paper side length).
