This series is a blessing and it is among the best teachings on the book of the revelation of Jesus I've come across. It hasn't just taught on the book, but has helped teach me how to read it.

Thank you for this excellent study of Revelation! I am so comforted to know that my questions aren’t just dumb questions as I sometimes have trouble reconciling the timing of the seals, trumpets, bowls and how the millennium fits into the timeline. It seems that no one can fully reconcile it as God hasn’t made it fully known. I really enjoy listening to your videos and have learned so much! I am looking forward to the new studies as well! May God bless you and protect you as you lead His church through these times. Maranatha!

The two up coming series I prayed about a couple of days ago. Not necessarily that you all would share it, but that I felt it the need to study more about those two topics. As well as the inheritance that is ours through faith in Christ. I kind of became a bit obsessed admittedly with the birth pains and the Antichrist. So glad to see that y’all will be talking about this things soon. I have always had a hard time doing personal studies; I’ve never been able to develop good ones without having leadership and a solid classroom feel. Those are my favorite things about these teachings you guys do.

This episode, and series altogether, is tremendous. Truly, the widening of the gap between those who adore our Lord and those who despise Him is growing and will grow greatly. Jesus spoke of humankind reaching maturity, and I believe this is what he meant. The Word of God is simply incredible and it’s unification is astounding.

My brothers and sisters in the Lord, Jesus. Seek Christ and strengthen your faith through him, so that you may endure the wickedness and persecution to come. Seek the Lord daily, so that you may crucify your flesh and deny yourselves and this world. Seek the Lord daily, and ask him to destroy your ego, pride, vanity, selfishness, envy and every undesireable thing to him, and instead ask to be filled with the Holy Spirit so that you may produce the fruit of the spirit and walk spiritually, and not worldly. Seek the Lord and ask him to enslave you to the Holy Spirit, for we are nothing without God and desperately need God every day, every second and we need the Holy Spirit to intercede always. Seek the Lord and ask him to destroy your laziness, and to lead you to consume the spiritual meat, which is the Holy Bible, and to apply the scriptures to your life. Seek the Lord daily, and ask for forgiveness and mercy, for he is a mercifull God. All glory and power and might and praise be to the Lord, Jesus Christ, the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, amin. Blessed be the name of the most high God. Forever.

For clarity: Joel has spent years teaching that Jesus is the "cloud rider" a very short but adventurous reading in Rev 14:14-16 seems to suggest that the "cloud rider" (Jesus) reaps the harvest of the Earth while simultaneously and second angel reaps the vine. it would be plausible to conclude that the "cloud rider" reaping the harvest that is ripe is likely the "rapture of the church. this would be congruent with the protective nature of God keeping us from His wrath, poured out in chapter 15 and following. This of course would leave the issue of the last trump in question, unless the last trump is connected to the series of trumpet blasts connected to the feast of Trumpet and not the trumpet judgements. it is obviously more detailed than this, but there isn't enough space here to expound in totality. Thoughts?

    Luke 21:36
Luk 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
    G1628 (Strong)
    ἐκφεύγω
    ekpheugō
    ek-fyoo'-go
From G1537 and G5343; to flee out: - escape, flee.
    3 harvest.
Luke - Bride - Escapes All ( Ripe Barley)
Mark- sleeping Church (Great Multitude rev 12) cleaned their Robes through seal judgement, then rapture- wheat goes through tribulium refiners fire, ect..
Matthew - Jews- Feet Down - Mt of Olives - inherit the promised land - millennial reign.
    Barely-wheat-Grapes
Pre Mid & Post - Tribulation Timing = All True.
Please consider the audience in which each synoptic gospel is speaking too.
Luke - Jesus has a gorgeous white robe in the discourse
Mark - has a purple robe this is a Tribulation color according to the harlot.
Then Look at what Luke’s discourse states as the last words on cross
“ Father into thy hands I commit my spirit”
Mark and Matthew ( Group) say
“ My God My God why has tho FORSAKEN Me” - FORSAKEN= G1459
    To LEAVE BEHIND
    G1459 (Strong)
    ἐγκαταλείπω
    egkataleipō
    eng-kat-al-i'-po
From G1722 and G2641; to leave behind in some place, that is, (in a good sense) let remain over, or (in a bad one) to desert: - forsake, leave.
Mark goes through Seals. Matthew Goes through Trumpets.
Matthew - he’s wearing a scarlet robe, also a tribulation color by the harlot definition.
Are there differences in the gospels? Of course not. The reason for these differences in the understanding of the open books now or the “ Is to Come Portion” of time is “ Who “ the Gospels are speaking too. The Bride & Church are NOT the same. There are many differences in the synoptic Gospels to understand “ WHO” what audience what harvest is being spoken about. There’s a case for mid and Post tribulation. The Scriptures support them All.
Only one group, Escapes ALL. - Luke Who proclaims he knows all things perfectly in order of the events that took place- A very bold statement no other writer claims. Apostle Paul also confirms this escape. John further confirms there are more than one Fold. - John 10:16.
16 And OTHER sheep I have, which ARE NOT of THIS fold: THEM also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
I Encourage all to read Luke - Mark- Matthew in this order.
    1st last, & Last 1st.
Thank you for the Study Brother.
    Maranatha!

Not one of the popular “rapture” passages reveal whether it is pretrib or post trib (John 14:1-3, 1 Cor. 15:51,52, 1 Thes. 4:15-17, 2 Thes. 2:1). But there are two passages that are strong support for the rapture/second coming as one event:
“Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you, and to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire.” (2 Thes. 1:6,7)
This is clearly the Lord’s second coming. But why would the saints be given “rest” at that time? Weren’t they raptured seven years earlier? Wouldn’t that be the time to give it? Why would they need it at the second coming? And if it is given at that time then the church will obviously go through the tribulation. All these things point to the rapture and second coming as one event. If “rest” is the rapture, it has to be post trib.
Pretrib theology explains these things away by claiming these saints get saved after the rapture in the tribulation. So they call them “tribulation saints.” But scripture makes no distinction between saints. Either you are a saint or aint. Paul is clearly teaching the rapture and second coming are one event which will be imminent after the tribulation (Matt. 24:29-31, Luke 21:25-28

Revelation ch 11 shows us the whole timeline of the 7 years... the 1st 3.5 years the saints of God who are the two witnesses will have great power prophesying about Jesus and bringing plagues on the wicked... once we are finished our testimony the next 3.5 years the beast from the bottomless pit rises and wages war and kills most of us... the passage goes right into the gathering of the Saints and the 7th trumpet... so the pouring of the bowls comes after our gathering to Christ I'm thinking

How do you equate the Angel of the Lord as Jesus Christ when in Exodus 23:20-21 God says He sends an angel before you to the place I have prepared and warns him to be careful to pay attention and obey the angel’s voice and not to rebel because the angel won’t pardon their transgressions, because God’s Name is in him. I’ve understood that to mean that the angel is so immersed in God’s purpose and character and being that nothing stops God’s will and that the angel has become like one with God as Jesus Christ wishes in John 17:11. I get so confused over this as though everything I’ve thought is wrong? How is the angel God?

I beg to differ on one key point. At around 37:30(ish), as you are talking about God's wrath and saying it is a very significant part part of who He is, that God has wrath, you say "men have the capacity to despise Him for that wrath or to adore Him, to worship Him... To be transformed by the image of that (wrath)".
No, we are changed by the Word and by the goodness of God not by the image of the wrath of God. Big. Key. Difference.
It is the goodness of God that leads men to repentance. (Romans 2:4) God is love. (1 John 4:16) Notice it says God is love, not God has love. God is light and in Him is no darkness (1 John 1:5).
God's wrath comes because He is setting things right. He is holy, and righteous, and true. God will display wrath at the end of the age but it is not who He is. And, yes, He is always Holy, and Righteous, and Just! He is today, He was yesterday and He will be tomorrow.
Sidebar: I'd like to politely request you not start breaking in in the middle of teachings to do "announcements". I think those could have waited and the fact that they couldn't had me scratching my head and wondering motives. As a supporter, I don't think that's what you are going for.
Thanks for the teaching. Appreciate you.

He Who Rides On The Clouds 🌥:
Baal is a western Semitic title that means Master or Lord. While it can actually refer to a large number of different deities, Baal in this case refers to Hadad, the Canaanite and Syrian god of rain, fertility, life, agriculture and thunder, particularly popular in Ugarit and Aleppo.
He was worshipped in many ancient Middle Eastern communities, who considered him one of the most important gods in their respective local pantheons.
He was at least in part derived from the Sumerian god Ishkur, but their character differed substantially; while Ishkur represented the destructive power of storms, the western Semitic Baal was the master of life-giving rains vital for farmers.
Thanks to his huge influence, Baal was designated as the universal god of fertility, and in that capacity his title was Prince, Lord of the Earth.
He was also called the Lord of Rain and Dew, the two forms of moisture that were indispensable for fertile soil in Canaan In Ugaritic and Hebrew, Baal's epithet as the storm god was He Who Rides on the Clouds.
In the Baal (Lord) Cycle he's frequently called "Aliyan Baal" or "Baal, the victorious." In Phoenicia, he was called Baal Shamen, Lord of the Heavens.
In Syria, hail was seen as a phenomenon closely related to him.
He was also the king of the gods, and, to achieve that position, he was portrayed as seizing the divine kingship from Yam, the sea god, described as a tyrannical ruler.
Baal was probably also regarded as the source of royal authority for human kings, and myths and prayers depict him as an ally and protector of humans.
In his main myth, the so-called Baal Cycle, Baal was locked in mortal combat with Mot, the personification of death and sterility.
If Baal triumphed, humanity would thrive; but, if he were to be vanquished by Mot, humans would suffer and their crops would wither away.
While the myths present a decisive conclusion to the conflict, some scholars assume it was believed to repeat in cycles.
Like many deities of the ancient Near East, Hadad was always represented in a horned headdress.
In art, he's often shown holding a club and thunderbolt or two clubs. While Mesopotamian depictions of the storm god and the famous Baal stele depict him as a typical bearded Near Eastern god, many Canaanite depictions are instead more similar to Egyptian warriror gods and beardless.
Baal was also frequently associated with bulls. The bull was a widespread symbol of divinity in ancient Mespopotamia and areas infuenced by it.
Other storm gods from cultures closely related to that of ancient Canaan, like Hurrian Teshub and Hittite Tarhunna, were depicted very similarly to Baal in art, and their myths shared many similarities as well.
The Egyptian god Set in his generally positive aspect as a god of foreigners was also associated with Baal, taking his role in the Egyptian adaptation of the Yam narrative.
Baal is usually associated with the goddesses Ashtart (commonly called "the Face of Baal," indicating particularly close bond between these two deities), a western Semitic equivalent of Ishtar, and Anat, both of who are often interpreted as his consorts. Anat is also called Baal's sister, though it's unclear if they share the exact same parents, as in Ugaritic texts Baal calls two separate gods, El (the husband of Asherah) and Dagan, his fathers.
Whether the two fathers were one and the same or if one of these was simply a courtesy title indicating superior status is a matter of scholarly debate, though cultic rather than mythical texts regard Dagan as separate from El.
The name Baal, or Ba'al, is used as a substitute of Hadad in some ancient texts and in common modern usage. This is possibly derived from the fact that in ancient Canaan only priests were allowed to utter the divine name, in much the same way as in Judaism where only priests were allowed to utter the name of God, so common people simply referred to him as Baal.
It's also possible the title was eventually deemed to be integral to Hadad's cult it functionally became his main name.
The word ba'al and its plural form were also used in the Hebrew Bible to refer to cult images, and in this context they were regarded as false gods. Because of this, several demons were derived from Baal, including Bael and Beelzebub.
Many of the most famous biblical references to Baal, for example the tale of Jezebel, are related to the traditions of the cities of Sidon and Tyre, where the title of Baal was applied to deities other than Hadad.
    😇

      @ready1fire1aim1 Рік тому

The Jewish tradition of Passover may have begun as a ritual connected with the myth of Mot killing Baal (Hadad). Passover is held at the end of the rainy season, which could symbolize the death of Baal, as he was the god of rain. In the myth, Mot eats Baal like a lamb.
During Passover, the priests eat lamb. However, the bones of the lamb are not broken, possibly signifying that Baal will return in the fall. During the festival, the priests prepare the body of the lamb in a similar fashion as Anat kills Mot.
The festival may have started with the belief that by participating in the death of Baal, they would insure that rains would not come during the spring, as rain in the spring could ruin the crops.
A few references in the Bible also appear to be a memory of Mot, such as vague mentions of seemingly personified death in the books of Hosea, Habakkuk and Jeremiah.

Well the space of half an hour is very important, it's mentioned 2 or 3 times in Revelation.
And most people don't understand the difference between the wrath of the devil against us,and the wrath of God upon the wicked.
They just look for the easy escape that false prophets have told them, therefore not prepared for what's coming 😭😭😭

    • @seekingthetruth9918
      @seekingthetruth9918 Рік тому +1

That’s a question that many wrestler a lot and it’s a intriguing one at the same time .
In traditional English versions, he does occasionally seem to speak of “Hell” - for example, in his warnings in the Sermon on the Mount: anyone who calls another a fool, or who allows their right eye or hand to sin, will be cast into “hell” (Matthew 5:22, 29-30). But these passages are not actually referring to “hell.” The word Jesus uses is “Gehenna.” The term does not refer to a place of eternal torment but to a notorious valley just outside the walls of Jerusalem, believed by many Jews at the time to be the most unholy, god-forsaken place on earth. It was where, according to the Old Testament, ancient Israelites practiced child sacrifice to foreign gods. The God of Israel had condemned and forsaken the place. the ancient world (whether Greek, Roman, or Jewish), the worst punishment a person could experience after death was to be denied a decent burial. Jesus developed this view into a repugnant scenario: corpses of those excluded from the kingdom would be unceremoniously tossed into the most desecrated dumping ground on the planet. Jesus did not say souls would be tortured there. They simply would no longer exist.
Jesus’ stress on the absolute annihilation of sinners appears throughout his teachings. At one point he says there are two gates that people pass through (Matthew 7:13-14). One is narrow and requires a difficult path, but leads to “life.” Few go that way. The other is broad and easy, and therefore commonly taken. But it leads to “destruction.” It is an important word. The wrong path does not lead to torture.
So too Jesus says the future kingdom is like a fisherman who hauls in a large net (Matthew 13:47-50). After sorting through the fish, he keeps the good ones and throws the others out. He doesn’t torture them. They just die. Or the kingdom is like a person who gathers up the plants that have grown in his field (Matthew 13:36-43). He keeps the good grain, but tosses the weeds into a fiery furnace. These don’t burn forever. They are consumed by fire and then are no more.
Still other passages may seem to suggest that Jesus believe in hell. Most notably Jesus speaks of all nations coming for the last judgment (Matthew 25:31-46). Some are said to be sheep, and the others goats. The (good) sheep are those who have helped those in need - the hungry, the sick, the poor, the foreigner. These are welcomed into the “kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.” The (wicked) goats, however, have refused to help those in need, and so are sent to “eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.” At first blush, that certainly sounds like the hell of popular imagination
But when Jesus summarizes his point, he explains that the contrasting fates are “eternal life” and “eternal punishment.” They are not “eternal pleasure” and “eternal pain.” The opposite of life is death, not torture. So the punishment is annihilation. But why does it involve “eternal fire”? Because the fire never goes out. The flames, not the torments, go on forever. And why is the punishment called “eternal”? Because it will never end. These people will be annihilated forever. That is not pleasant to think about, but it will not hurt once it’s finished.
And so, Jesus stood in a very long line of serious thinkers who have refused to believe that a good God would torture his creatures for eternity. The idea of eternal hell was very much a late comer on the Christian scene, developed decades after Jesus’ death and honed to a fine pitch in the preaching of fire and brimstone that later followers sometimes attributed to Jesus himself. But the torments of hell were not preached by either Jesus or his original Jewish followers; they emerged among later gentile converts who did not hold to the Jewish notion of a future resurrection of the dead. These later Christians came out of Greek culture and its belief that souls were immortal and would survive death.

The book of Enoch presents this places created to the souls of man and as well to the angelic entities that rebellious turn against God .
The parable of Lazarus and the rich man leads me to believe that after death our spirits will either be at rest waiting resurrection or in agony waiting for judgment ( second death ) which the book of Enoch seems to validate that view .
Revelation reveals that’s the souls of the saints are pleading with God to bring judgment ( if they are death and sleeping how do they have the ability to plea ? )
Much more could be said yet do your homework and seek and u will find .
The end of the day this it’s just my view .

      We just speculate .

Different Hebrew and Greek words are translated as "Hell" in most English-language Bibles. These words include:
"Sheol" in the Hebrew Bible, and "Hades" in the New Testament. Many modern versions, such as the New International Version, translate Sheol as "grave" and simply transliterate "Hades". It is generally agreed that both sheol and hades do not typically refer to the place of eternal punishment, but to the grave, the temporary abode of the dead, the underworld.[3]
"Gehenna" in the New Testament, where it is described as a place where both soul and body could be destroyed (Matthew 10:28) in "unquenchable fire" (Mark 9:43). The word is translated as either "Hell" or "Hell fire" in many English versions.[4] Gehenna was a physical location outside the city walls where they burned rubbish and where lepers and outcasts were sent, hence the weeping and gnashing of teeth.
The Greek verb ταρταρῶ (tartarō, derived from Tartarus), which occurs once in the New Testament (in 2 Peter 2:4), is almost always translated by a phrase such as "thrown down to hell". A few translations render it as "Tartarus"; of this term, the Holman Christian Standard Bible states: "Tartarus is a Greek name for a subterranean place of divine punishment lower than Hades."[2 Peter 2:4]

God's wrath is not for true believers. The 3 1/2 years of Great Tribulation is Not God's wrath, but the wrath of Satan (Rev 12:12).There is the "wrath" of God in the plagues, but like the plagues in Egypt, they are not for His people, they are sealed and not effected. The Greek thumos anger is about sinner to bring them to repentance. It is temporary. God's eternal wrath (Rev14:10) is in Greek orge and that Sudden Destruction of the wicked is at His 2.coming, when He comes back to earth with His Saints for judgment (Rev 19:15), it is the Day of the Lord (2.Thess 2:1) and last one day (Zech 14:7). It is the same day with the Rapture (Luke 17:29+30). It is at the last day of this age (Rev 6:17 Strong's), at the last trump (Rev 11:18), it is done (finished) with the 7th bowel (Rev 15:1+16:17). The orge wrath we do not find in the last 7 years, only at His second coming, 6 times in revelation (6:16+17; 11:18; 14;10 indignation; 16;19; 19;15), that is with the end of the Great Tribulation, when all things are finished (Dan 12:7; Rev 10:7; 16:17).
This is what the bible says and therefore the truth. If it makes no sense, it is still the truth and your senses are wrong.

If a believer believes in the traditional Jewish marriage aspect in the Bible and our relation to Jesus as His bride, then it’s absurd and unbiblical to think the Father would drag the Sons bride through the worst 7 years in the earth to accomplish things that have already been accomplished through Jesus once-and-for-all atonement or will be accomplished by God during those 7 years.
We are not made righteous through ANYTHING we’ve done or could EVER do, but through what HE has done for us.

Dalton seems to wholeheartedly believe that the tribulation centers around Israel but doesn’t seem to believe Gods power through the 144,000 will be enough to witness to them. So apparently we (all true believers, or the bride of Christ) will be exposed to Gods eschatological wrath for 7 years to assist them and Jesus, even though Jesus promised in a letter to His faithful church “Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth. I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown”
There is far too much biblical evidence even beyond that to conclude that the church will be snatched away from eschatological wrath.
What I’m concerned about are the believers who aren’t watching for Him.

Biblehub says seven angels having seven plagues - the last of them completed the wrath of God. That agrees with Rev 16:17, it is done (finished, fulfilled). At the 7th bowel the 2. coming as a thief takes place with the Rapture and the wrath of God. Both happen the same day (Luke 17:29+30: Rev 11:18; 6:12-17; 19:15).

Joel's and Dalton's teachings on the end-times and the Day of the Lord are probably the most insightful and scriptural I have seen. It is correct that we do not know precisely the timing between our being gathered to the Lord at the 7th Trumpet and the final Bowl of Wrath. However, it seems logical that since the first coming of Christ fulfilled the Jewish spring feast days, that the second coming will occur on and fulfill the fall feasts. Therefore, the 7th and Final Trumpet would likely occur on the Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah), which is a 48-hour period that falls on three separate days on the current calendar (thus we're not really able to know the "day" or the "hour). Then, the Bowls of Wrath would be poured out during what is known as the Days of Awe immediately thereafter. The Final Bowl and the following destruction of the Antichrist would occur on or around Yom Kippur (aka The Feast of Atonement). Considering the fact that the 3rd Bowl destroys the earth's fresh water sources, it seems unlikely that there would be enough potable water left to sustain the peoples remaining on the earth or the armies gathered for battle at Armageddon for more than a week following the pouring of the 3rd Bowl. There are 10 days between the beginning of Yom Teruah and the ending of Yom Kippur. It seems logical that, as Dalton states, this Bowls of Wrath are not a long, drawn our process. Maranatha!!!

Do you think it's possible that the rapture and the wrath of the seven bowls will take place in one day? At the seventh trumpet, believers are raptured and immediately after that, the bowls of wrath are poured out on the unbelievers who've been left on earth as well as the destruction of the Beast. It sounds like it will occur in one day. The reason why I think its only a 24 hour period is Revelation 18:8 says "Therefore in one day (Babylon's) plagues will overtake her: death, mourning and famine. She will be consumed by fire, for mighty is the Lord God who judges her." Revelation 18:18 says, "...in one hour she has been brought to doom."

The reason it "flashes back" in chapter 18 is because the book of revelation isnt 1 straight book as far as reading it from beginning to end, it was written as 7 letters, to 7 separate churches. The letters connect, but each letter is from beginning to end, except the last chapters. Some letters equate to a few chapters each, and some are only 1 chapter long.
