One of my regrets was starting my yoga practice when I was 33. I always ask myself why didn't I start my practice earlier. Then I realize, there isn't a right or wrong time to start.
+Angeline Ng You are young. I am glad you have found yoga and i hope you practise it consistently every single day of your life... Donot compare yourself to some other external coordinates, you,i and everyone are a masterpiece of his creation. Always, the compareision has to be in relation to yourself.....Always....I wish the shimmering light within you guides you to higher consciousness, Angie. :) Namaste from india.
this makes me feel better about starting yoga at 31. I'm always concerned that I'll never get any advanced poses down. but this guy started at 38 and his discipline has paid off. such an inspiration!
When i see people doing the things he does, i used to think that they were born in a yogamat haha this is very inspiring.. Just practice is the best advice..thanks so much.. Love and Light
so beautiful I even cry of how emotional I got, it's so true one abuses our physical bodies so much and like me I'm crying for help and do this. I feel so much in peace when I stretch and 'try' to do yoga, going vegan was a huge change for me 3 years ago and now I really want to learn this practice.
+My Own BS As the others said, jump in and watch the changes happen for yourself. Yoga is about (always) moving towards to the pose, not the arrival. The road is the goal... Sending you good energy.
My Dear Alexandros, many many greetings from Nepal. So happy to see all the practice of yours that brought you to the point of no more effort...Nothing can be experienced as pure Love if you do not carry the LOVE. In respect from afar...
As I am getting older, turning 25 next month, I can say I have became further influenced getting into yoga because while still young, I must take care of my body, and this is a great and powerful inspiration to go far, and thank you for the video 💙 Namaste 🙏🏻💙
for me this man is a true yogi, not that occidental kind who got a TCC after one year of practice. He's a constant learner and his humility forces silence. I watched (and listen !) this one a huge bunch of times, it always anchors my practice into an honnest way i lose while surfing on IG yoga. Thank you for the lesson.
I love that you stated that have no interest in teaching and focus purely on the practice. It is all about the practice. Nice to see another kindred spirit out there. :)
I started doing yoga I want to say 3 years ago, off and on (now I'm doing it more frequently). I have seen significant changes in my body! I am more flexible, strong, and I can't wait to get to this level!
#AlessandroSigismondi Such a beautiful video. I don't know why but it made me very emotional. Just practice. Nothing else matters. :) Thankyou for sharing this with the world.
@Barry Mycoqinue i did yoga following this book Richard Hittleman's Yoga: 28 Day Exercise Plan, and i did felt peaceful , and what more important is I had some physical illness i had for 10 years just vanished in less than 2 months
+Laruga Yoga, you and Alexandros are both incredible. Videos like these remind me constantly why I come to my mat day in, day out. The Ashtanga yoga method is outstanding and by far my favourite practice. I couldn't get over how amazing my first chin stand felt. From there on my yoga journey changed forever.
I, too, wish I’d discovered this beautiful practice sooner. If I didn’t have a busy professional life and young kids I would do this practice every day. Ashtanga has taken me by surprise and I’m elated to be on this journey.🙏🏼
This is very inspiring to a 20 year old who used to follow rodney yee's yoga videos when I was younger and then got out of the habit for about 10 years. I'm just re-starting and my dream is to teach yoga someday. If someone almost twice my age can do this so can I! Even if I feel like I've fallen behind!
What a beautiful yogi you are!! Just practice. . you are right. I can feel your inspiration. Thank you for sharing your practice. I want to be a yogi like you someday!!
Hugely inspirational! I agree, sometimes we just know yoga is the right thing to do. Also, it’s when we surrender to the breath that we really progress
beautiful! thank you so much for sharing! humbling, inspiring, just magnificant, about the teaching and practicing of yoga and about you yourself alessandro and your experience of yoga and life. so profound and beautiful. wish I had the decipline to practice so deep. thank you for sharing. namaste :)
Very inspiring video, and encouraging to hear you came to yoga with no physical background and not at a really young age. Were you naturally quite flexible though?
+Stefano Sesta credo che faccia solo yoga. non siamo la stessa persona comunque. Io faccio yoga ma non sono al suo livello nelle asana, me la cavo meglio come fotografo e videomaker :-)
Hi Alessandro thank you for the inspiring video. What is the best way or technique to train to do Mulabandhasana and how long should one hold the pose for?
Still coming back to this video after 8 years... Incredible cinetography, skills, and very wise words!
So beautiful. I've been lucky to meet Alexandros and he's amazing!

"The body just accommodates to the needs of your breath.. It came effortlessly". I will cary these words in my practice every day. Thank you Sir 🙏
The best thing about this video is seeing the sweat dripping on the mat. Fantastic practice !
this makes me feel better about starting yoga at 31. I'm always concerned that I'll never get any advanced poses down. but this guy started at 38 and his discipline has paid off. such an inspiration!
How long it took to get to the advanced poses? D:
I keep returning to this video over and over again whenever I need inspiration to continue practicing. Thank you so very much!

This is one of my favorite videos. I watch often before practicing, for motivation. Is it third or fourth series? Amazing practice he has.

+My Own BS yoga can be very life changing for what it's around it. healthy choices first... this resonates with my own experience too!
+My Own BS You can do anything you want, the practice will transform you completely, on all levels. Wishing you all the best, love and health :).
+My Own BS As the others said, jump in and watch the changes happen for yourself. Yoga is about (always) moving towards to the pose, not the arrival. The road is the goal... Sending you good energy.
