I’m creating a case study about the recent app of a company which people expect improvements so I’m thinking to add that
Ty so much Malewicz! I need to ask one thing. Why you using rectangles instead of frames? Isn't that hard to code by developers without auto layout containers and proper div values?
I have a love/hate relation for Dynamic island. Partly because now I believe that pill/notch thing gliding above the phone may never go away with this new "Dynamic island" feature. I like the feature yet now there is actual lines of code in that particular "black" spot of the phone, for the foreseeable future. so I get rid of the pill/notch now? I don't like the pill/notch on the screen
@@MalewiczHype Assumed Flash or AE. These days, I wonder if Figma gets called on to do a bit too much. I miss a strong timeline editor. Looking at Artboard Studio. Thoughts?
Sketch currently doesn't have animations like this. I miss InVision Studio which had Sketch import and a way more robust option to animate than Figma has but sadly it's discontinued.
I didn't actually notice the corner ish during the event, but nw taking a closer look, the corner radii don't seem to match up. I believe it's a miss on their part bur it's def gonna b resolved, it's Apple anyway.
I really hope that developers don't just turn this into another modal and cram it full of text and other junk. It'd be great if Apple puts in very clear guidelines about how the island should be used.
I had a question I am looking to find a team to create my complicated platform application I have designed it on Adobe xd, but my question is should I first let it redesign it by ui/ux designers and then find developers to make it or should I find designers/developers team? I have anough money because I got investors I can go to €2 million euro
I wouldn't be so quick with hailing this island as a great solution. Not to be a hater or a contrarian, but I see some potential issues with it. First of all, touching the lense is a no-no for me, personally. Second of all, the space taken by the camera is actually larger now and if it's not going to be utilized 90% of the time, it's actually increasing our cognitive load while looking at the screen. It looks like they thought of using it as a space first, and thought of what information to fill it with later. That line of thought creates a problem- adding unnecessary information just to fill a space.
I wrote an article on a couple of these issues on Medium yesterday - you're right, it's not all good, but it does offer some creativity to UI designers, even if for a short while.
Touching the lens is really a non-issue. We touch the lens all the time with our fingers, our ears, our faces, when we fidget with our phones in our pockets and bags. And we simply wipe the front camera if we think it gets blurry.
I'm a college student. If i study GOOGLE Coursera UX designer course can I get any internships? Is it enough to study in Course era or need any other courses?. Please help me with this
Google Coursera course is not enough to get a job or an internship. You should definitely learn more UI design from other sources and then work on your portfolio for some time until you're job ready.
It’s going to suck especially if you have small hands. You’ll have to reach up and touch it every time. Also, imagine how blurry those front facing camera pictures are going to be from having fingerprints on the camera.
Yes there are some caveats, especially given the size of the phones - I will write about them in an article and potentially make another video on that - there's a couple of those issues that we'll have to wait and see how they play out. For now just wanted to show people how to achieve this effect :)
@@MalewiczHype I will be waiting for this I also have mixed reviews on the dynamic island but I think it’s a creative approach of using the pill hole and adding more functionality to it

A large part of my career was interface animation back in 2004-2007 so making animations is super fast for me ;)
