I intuitively decided to watch this film - and am so glad that I did. Find Me Falling is a refreshing departure from formulaic rom-coms - especially American ones. This film, as others have written in comments - allows for a different perspective - one that includes various voices which are not stereotypic. I have worked and spent time in Cyprus. After watching this film, it makes me want to return for another visit. Particularly enchanting was the portrayal of local culture and music - so important in our modern age of synthesized sound. This music expresses soul. It's healing. It's uplifting. It's something that we are wanting, that are souls are yearning for. If you're in need of some soothing. Watch this film. I'll likely watch it again.
Really enjoyed this romcom. Not enough of these movies are made these days. Funny and emotional at once. Harry Connick Jr is great, as is the rest of the cast. Beaufully set in Cyprus and makes me want to visit there. Great film.

You know sometimes you watch a film that isn’t great but is definitely worth watching. If you want a movie to enjoy, even though it’s a bit predictable, then it’s a great film. Yeah it may not win awards but then again sometimes it’s just good to watch and enjoy something that’s nice.

Loved it. Ideal for a wet Saturday afternoon. Beautiful location. Yes the story is cheesy & unlikely but handled well by all. What’s not to like about Harry Connick Jnr?
The acting was a tiny bit rocky at first, it ironed itself out as i watched. The whole vibe of the film and the music and storyline was great. I throughly enjoyed watching. Left me feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. I will watch this again at some point. Wish ali fumiko whitney had music out! And Harry Connick Jr. Sounded great as well. I'm very impressed with this film, makes me want to just jump in and join the family dinners and bar nights.
Harry outdid himself in character again. Well done movie watched three times so far and I don’t want to give it away. House on the hill in Greece he doesn’t know at first that suicides happen as people jump off the cliff. Ofcourse right in front of his home on the hill. Then the movie takes off. A must watch
Gentle, exceptionally sweet movie, even tho' part of the plot may be a well worn storyline. The other storyline however, is cleverly intertwined & poignant for most people. The female leads are well written & both the sister/Aunt Koula & the Grandmother/Yiayia are excellent. The GP/former lover is sympathetically acted whilst the young singer has done a good job of learning Cypriot Greek & lends her lovely voice to this movie. Good to see Harry Connick Jnr & glad he's not lost that voice. Loved the cantada/serenade. Whilst the village folk provide some very believable reality & the scenery is of course, beautiful. The world weary but wise Police Chief & his daughter .... nice touch
I found this movie to be a beautiful, light-hearted, and at times funny love affair. Greece, where the movie is shot is sensational and doesn't let you down. The story line would be typical, but the innovation of the cliff where people make their final choices in life adds for an interesting addition. If you're looking for a movie that gives you a break from outside problems, then I highly recommend it. If you're looking for a movie that makes you feel good on the inside, then once again highly recommend it.
A charming film encompassing life within a Greek Cypriot community and its colourful characters, whilst the main storyline is the lovers of old reigniting their relationship.
This was a great romcom with all the right ingredients. However, it certainly wasn’t (Feta) Cheesy. There, were stereotypes galore, jokes and romance. There was also some profound Greek Philosophy to justify the protagonists’ choices. The film wasn’t predictable, as the storyline allowed scenes to pan out differently. Gave us a warm feeling inside at the end. Recommended. PS: Acting was OK. No one is ever going to win an Oscar here but the cast did what they had to do to make a good movie.
It was ok I guessed the story early on which didn’t help . These style of films are usually a bit corny , as was this . Nice shots of cyprus. The acting was a little wooden in places but overall worth a watch . They didn’t use connick singing much so I didn’t get why he was cast in this as he’s a better singer than he is an actor . The night previous I watched the new Batman movie which was atrocious. So this movie was a nice lift in comparison.
"You don't sound like you're from around here" "Well we don't all have accents" she says in the THICKEST American accent. As though Greeks just develop an American accent when speaking in English. I got a full hour in when Selina started slipping into RP English. And that's when I knew I didn't need to watch any more. Rubbish.
