Hi Kat! GBS is also my favorite trilogy 💚💚💚 months later I’m still in post Jade Legacy depression so I decided to read The Godfather to see what Fonda Lee was inspired by. On the downside a lot of derogatory phrases towards women but on the upside follows similar narration and characterization style as Jade City. It has also been really interesting to connect parallels. Highly recommend :)
I'm only in the middle of the first book of the jade city, but I think I'm reading something great and sad and I like it I also liked to watch in this vlog how you choose books keep filming this haha this is cool

i think the reason your jade legacy copy is different is bc the US paperback doesnt come out till september (i think) so u mightve gotten the UK version

I think you got a UK edition of Jade Legacy, that's why it's smaller. US paperback doesn't come out untill September 13, 2022.
