Thank you, Piotr, for all the hard work and dedication you've put into these videos. I passed DP-203 a while back, but I still find your new videos incredibly useful and relevant for real-life scenarios.
Yes indeed it was super useful, and i could relate to it easily since this is what i work with every now and then in sql while debugging any sql issue and finding root cause. windows functions like ROW_NUMBER, RANK, DENSE_RANK etc are always handy. Can you suggest any book for this data transformation phase only? which covers getting data in df, different data transformation scenarios and logics to deal with, best practices and so on? Thanks again :)
hey there... just wanted to know that will you adding more videos in this playlist.. if yes how many more videos you are planning to add... I am preparing for DP 203 and i found your videos so helpful.. Im going through all your videos could you confirms by when this Playlist will end so that I can schedule the exam accordingly
I have the same question as @priyeshgupta. Hope to see your response, Piotr. Again I want to thank you for your efforts making this playlist, your explaination is super easy to follow which hardly to find elsewhere.
Yes! Definitely there will be more videos coming to the playlist as I'm still recording them. There's about 20 more videos that I plan to record so assuming weekly schedule it means 5 months for everything to be ready. If it is too long time for you - don't wait for me and just take the exam. In the worst case you would just retry it later.
@@TybulOnAzure Hope you're doing well Piotr. I'm wondering that if you can make a short-video showing all the topics that will be covered in this playlist (like an agenda)? So that we can find from other resources to learn ahead for the exams (and also prepare for DE interviews in my case) while waiting for your records. It would be a huge help and I'm really really appreciate that xD
The thing is that I don't have a final agenda created yet - it is kind of dynamic. I know more or less the areas I would like to cover, but it might change: 1. Writing data to ADLSg2 from Azure Databricks. 2. Azure Databricks Autoloader. 3. Orchestrating Databricks notebooks. 4. Introduction to DBT. 5. Unity Catalog. 6. Synapse Spark Pool. 7. ADF Data Flows. 8. Synapse Dedicated SQL Pool. 9. SQL security topics. 10. Databricks SQL Warehouse. 11. Synapse Serverless SQL Pool. 12. Streaming. 13. Azure Stream Analytics. 14. Purview.
Good set of videos on AZ data. The only improvement is that you stay zoomed in on parts of the Azure or Databricks portal windows so I sometimes got lost for which part you were using. When you make the video it is easy for you to see because its all in front of you, but not for us. You have a given us a restricted VIEW (joke).
To the people who already attempted the exam - is it mostly Synapse? On Microsoft Learn - the learning path for DP-203 consists of mostly Azure Synapse.
Hi Piotr Sorry if I keep asking stupid questions lol I started following along, I'm still on the videos with Azure Data Factory. I don't have the free one month anymore, I have the Pay as you go subscription. Is it a good idea after I'm done with some exercise to just delete the resource group and then next time deploy everything again? Or should I just leave the resource group? I just don't want to wake up one day and have to pay 300 eur for example or is this highly unlikely haha
I've just checked my bill for last three months (Jan - March 2024) for my DP-203 resource group and in total it was €57. Three most expensive components: 1. ADF - €20. 2. Virtual network (private endpoints) - €20. 3. SQL DB - €13. So I would say that deleting and recreating resources is not that important.
Thank you, Piotr, for all the hard work and dedication you've put into these videos. I passed DP-203 a while back, but I still find your new videos incredibly useful and relevant for real-life scenarios.
Thanks, that's super nice!

Amazing work on this playlist, love how you share the practical examples from your work experience and the hands on teaching. Kudos!
Glad it was helpful!
As usual, thanks for the course!!
Thank you Piotr. Amazing as always.

Unfortunately, I don't recall any good book on this topic.

Amazing videos so far.. do you have similar tutorials for people who want to learn in depth SQL programming?
Thanks! Unfortunately, I don't have anything on SQL.

Oh, actually I was making those zooms on purpose so you can see the content better, especially on mobiles.

Hello. I took my exam on 1 of May. It is not only about Azure Synapse. It involves everything mentioned in the DP -203 exam page.
Guys, please don't discuss exam questions as it violates Candidate Agreement: learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/support/certification-exam-candidate-agreement
@@TybulOnAzure OK. Sorry for that.
nearly finished the sql book reading up on the t-sql now
And what do you think about this book? Is it useful?
@@TybulOnAzure it's pretty advanced, some of the concepts are hard to grasp but it is very extensive and the exercises help a lot
