These will be easy times for Muslims as with the Mehdi we will all unite and the ummah will be one again and as long as we are Muslims and have faith in Allah and do what we are supposed to do as in prayer, we have nothing to fear. Allahu Aleem. Let Allah decide when he will come, as far as I'm concerned, at Mahdi's (RA) time people are going to fight with swords and we barely use swords nowadays. So jumping into a conclusion and guessing that he will appear soon is a bit too much. Allah knows best.
+Ashfaq I agree. Your concern is based on the truth. But anything can happen that will destroy technology. Perhaps the great landslide (mentioned in hadith- 1 in the west, 1 in the east, 1 in the Arabian Peninsula) will happen before his arrival. I pray to God, to Allah that, I and my descendants survive the landslide. Oh well... I may have to migrate to the middle east to survive it...

After detonations of Atomic bombs it triggers something that is called EMP which will disable Everything that is electronics so NO more fighter jets, Navys, Cruise missiles, artillery etc. So fighting after a nuclear will be with swords and arrow and probably old generation Guns that doesn't have any electrical parts.

+Ashfaq From where did you get this information? That at Mahdi's (RA) time, people will be fighting with swords. I think its not fair to take ahadeeth literally in this manner. The prophet described things to the sahaba in a way they could understand. If he told them about things like jets, guns etc, they wouldnt get it. So he used relatable words like horses for jets, swords for weapons etc.
Haleem ul Hassan No my friend. But the Prophet SAW saw the future on his heavenly night journey (Is'ra wal Mi'raj). It is also encouraged the take the hadeeth of the Prophet SAW literal. However, there is context which must be considered.
Youssif Saadieh ofcoarse he saw all these things, and not just on night journey, Allah showed him about all the things that will happen. But the sahabah did not see it obviously. So he had to tell the sahaba in a way they would understand. I think it would be quite foolish to ignore this point when reading ahadith about the future. How was he going to explain to the sahaba what a nuclear bomb is, what airplanes are, what machine guns and bazookas are. That would be totally irrevelant, because the point of these ahadith is WHAT will happen, so we remain prepared, not HOW it will happen. It would be ridiculous to assume that in today's future people are going to be fighting with horses and swords lol

The imam mehdi will come when we most need it , but at the same time we also have a duty to islam to spread as much love and peace as possible but at the same time defend our brothers and sisters who are vulnerable, this means more charity,more donations, more dua, and simply more understanding for eachother.

In the Hadith of prophet Mohamad , peace and Allahs prayers be upon him , there is no mention of the “montazar” , I.e the awaited one.
It is most probably added by people , who are eager waiting for his coming.
